Ever since his reincarnation, life has been more pleasant For Azrael, even though he doesn't have what he used to pass his days as freely as before at least he found something even more fun than before, something he could only watch in movies or read in novels, magic.
He was spending his free time trying to learn magic but he couldn't because he hasn't awakening his Astral soul yet. That didn't diminished his happiness he found in it even though he hasn't yet been able to produce anything magic. Everyday he practice his sword with his grandfather as his master, since his father was always at the border defending the kingdom from demons and barbarians. He liked sword art as it was more easy to use and also one of the strongest art in the world. Ever since he reincarnated, the sword that caused his rebirth was lying dormant in his soul and he wasn't able to summon it out nor could he use it's energy, but it made him a genius in sword art, capable of learning any sword skills which made his grandfather surprised and happy.
Azrael was practicing his sword art, his body drips with sweat, his purple hair clinging to his face as he gasped. His grandfather stood a distance away from him, watching him with a proud expression on his face. Azrael completed his last sword steps and he stopped, he wanted to lie on the floor immediately, but he used his will to keep himself straight on his feet. His grandfather walked towards him with a smile on his face as he said "that's great, you truly are a genius in sword art, ah I am so jealous, since you and your sister are already admitted into the academy, you should go and rest up for tomorrow".
Even though he didn't want to go to the academy, he had to as it was the only place where he would awakening his Astral soul and learn to use mana to become a real Swordmaster. He looked at his grandfather with a smile and bowed to him, shocking his grandfather. "Thanks for everything grandfather" he said
"Well, don't thank me, it should have been your father duty but since he's defending the kingdom, I have to step in to teach you since I was better than him and also his master but if you want to thank me, mature faster and get married and give me multiple great grandchildren" his grandfather said. At first he grandfather was saying something meaning until he started his gibberish words at the end, he was already used to his grandfather way of speech so he didn't mind. "Well then I going to rest for tomorrow" Azrael said as he ran off, leaving his grandfather alone on the training field.
The following day.
Azrael and his sister Ariel were both dress up, excluding the air of nobles, their mother, grandfather and grandmother except from their father and uncle were there to bid goodbye to them.
"Don't worry, I will always visit whenever I am free, okay my little sweetie" The twins mother said to Ariel
"Azrael, take care of yourself and your sister, okay?" She said to Azrael and he nodded with a smile.
"Little chap, if anything happens to my granddaughter, you will face my wrath" his grandmother said. Of all the people in the house, Azrael was mostly afraid of his grandmother the most, she was stern and doesn't take no for an answer.
Azrael sweated as he replied "don't worry grandmother, no one will dare to offend my sister and escaped from it"
"Good, you better keep to your words"
Ariel who was beside him laughed as she found everything funny and exciting.
His grandfather walked forward and laid his hands on Azrael shoulders as he smile "now go and shine your Morningstar as the greatest swordmaster ever" he said encouraging Azrael "and you too my beautiful granddaughter, become the best mage there ever is" he said to Ariel with doting expression. The twins smiled back at him "don't worry grandfather, we are sure to become the best" Ariel said confidently
"Oh such confidence, I like it, hahahaha"their grandfather said and laughed loudly.
"Okay time to get going" their grandmother said
"Mother, grandfather, grandmother we are off" After Azrael and Ariel said their goodbye and entered into their waiting carriage as it began to move towards the academy, where they would be able to shape their lives.
