Wei Guang's POV
Another tiring day from uni and finally I got home. I opened the door to my living room and turned on the lights. Taking off my shoes and coat, I walked to the couch and layed on it, I took my remote and turned on the TV on. Life nowadays for me had taken a U- Turn and I can't keep up. Maybe the news will distract me. I lazily staredbat the headlines until one in particular caught my attention.
"Mr Zhang is to marry Ms Gao of the famous technical company in two weeks time."
I immediately sat up and stared at the TV in shoke. How was this happening?
Before anything else could cross my mind, Nina filled my thoughts.
Nina! How is she coping with this? Is she okay with this? Is she happy that finally she's having a new mom? Is she crying instead?
I pulled out my phone with apprehension and hesitantly dialed Nina's number. It rang for a couple of times but there was no response. I tried again but it went straight to voicemail. I couldn't relax my mind and used my landline to call her. The first try she answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Nina!?"
"Who's this?"
"It's me."
"I'm sorry, but I can't understand you."
"It's me Wei Guang speaking."
"...."
" Nina?"
"Sorry , we'll talk later. I'm busy."
"Stop that nonsense you're giving me right now. What is it I'm hearing?".
"What are you saying?".
"Mr Zhang is Marrying Ms Gao. What's that?".
"It's exactly as you heard."
"But why?".
"It's non of your concern-"
"It is my concern...."
"..."
" As much as I hate seeing you in pain."
"I'm not in pain." She shrugged reluctantly.
"Stop lying to me little Rosy."
Nina was a blushing mess. Sne missed hearing him call her that. But just then sadness enveloped her when her father's words rang through her mind like an echo.
"If you won't tell me anything right now then I'm coming to your house this instant."
"No no no, don't."
I was just about to get the car keys when she stopped me.
"And why should I not"
She stayed silent.
"Tell me or I seriously will come -"
"Okay fine, I'll tell you everything. Just don't come here. After the wedding I'll explain everything to you. I promise."
I sighed and wonder to myself. Why she was hiding things from me. But nevertheless, I agreed to meet up with her here at my home right after their wedding.

Third person POV
Some where far from china, two pairs of eyes were throwing daggers on the TV headline that stood out from the rest.
"Huh! I can't believe you actually replaced the woman you once loved. So big mistake sherm." She turned the TV off and called for somebody.
Moments later another person walked in the room.
" Shu Feng. Did you watch the news."
"Yes, I'm aware of what's happening."
"I see." Their voice came out a little sinister.
"What are you planning to do."
The reply given was a sinister laugh. It sent shivers down shu Feng's spine.
"Mr Zhang is a cruel man. You'll see. His going to tarnish his own reputation. Because of what? His anger issues, terrible decisions
And hectic behavior."
" I guess you're right Lily."
The woman whose discovered to be Lily, smiled knowingly at Shu Feng besides her.
"This will be interesting."
---------------
It was finally the day of the wedding. Ms Gao was getting her make-up done and she was very nervous. She tried her best not to freak out but it was her first wedding and she wanted everything to go well. She wasn't the only one, though it wasn't his first wedding, Mr Zhang too wanted it to go perfectly well. He was happy, of course but poor Nina was far from that.
This all was too much for her. She didn't want to see all of this happening. In fact, she just wanted to be in her room. Somewhere where she can rest in peace without looking at her mother's replacement. She sat behind the door that separated her with the outside garden where everything will take place. A few meters away from Nina's left, Wei Guang stared at Nina in a worried way. But he knew best not to approach her for now.
Immediately it was time, Nina oppend the door and walked down the aisle spreading petals of peonies. A mixture of white and pink petals that symbolize romance , prosperity and good fortune. They also symbolize honor and compassion and are commonly linked with happy marriages and a long, prosperous life. But Nina thinks all this fortune thing Just does harm than good. Nina wore a dress made of lace and taller, it had a ball gown silhouette with a fitted bodice featuring intricate lace appliques in a deep, rich red colour that contrasts beautifully with the lighter tulle skirt.
Behind her was Ms Gao's niece as the ring bearer carrying the rings on a small pillow. After her followed the bride accompanied by her father ; Mr Harvey Gao.
Her wedding gown was luxurious and with high-fashion with intricate details. It features a sheer overlay adorned with floral appliques and embroidery, it gave an ethereal and romantic appearance. The long veil extended the dress's elegance and it's decorated in a similar floral pattern, creating a cohesive and captivating look. On her hair, a flower crown added a natural, fairy tale look to her gown.
Ms Gao was truly a beautiful woman. Her facial ethereal features adorned the floral dressing worn by her and non present could take their eyes off her.
Nina stood by the right side of the alter and watched as her dad smiled whilst looking at Ms Gao. This all hurt Nina way too much. She just hoped for all this to end already.
The bridal procession began and they made their wedding vows. They were announced as husband and wife, they kissed and the crowed cheered. This whole time Wei Guang couldn't help but be worried for Nina. He knew she was hurting even though she tried to smile.
'Oh little Rosy.'
