Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

I want to experience the overwhelming strength.

I don't even know when this thought first occurred in my mind, but I'd been going through life desperately clinging to this hope from when I was small.

I'd wasted most of my earlier days foolishly playing with a bunch of kids of my same kind and they also follow me as my devout followers. But seems as if a fleeting nonexistent dream passed by just a very short night everything changed.

It seemed conflict trailed after my awakening didn't appear. The world that existed with the concept of levels & skills only looked at me with the notion of gull.

The bunch that follows me similar to my small personal army seize to being exist. The morale I raised when I am small was just a bunch of craps spitted by my idiotic self.

Creating my own country? Ruling them as a higher being. Slaughter is the evil from the world. Exterminate the Demon lord. They were just my foolish desires that would never bear fruits even less flowers. And by the time I'd reached my maturity, I just got goosebumps even if that thought appeared in my mind.

In the world were every living creature started at Level 1 and leveled up by killing the monsters. Where magic and fairy tale exist while swords and shields collide a Level 0 was nothing more than a mob. Maybe just a spec of a burden on the earth.

Well, I can't say I was beneath the ants or the bugs but I can't even compare to the average kid in the village of Seipheor. When they were born they were at least at the level of Level 1 nothing similar to me who was already at the age of Sixteen and couldn't even defeat the weakest monster that appeared in the mountain periphery.

And living my life that was like a journey, I was known as the most fearsome 'deadbeat' an abandoned weed. Treated as though I was unnecessarily a straight-forsaken child abandoned by the gods.

The general population in my village and most of the kids similar to my age didn't see me as human but as an insolent fool who shouldn't exist in the world grace of the gods.

After all those years from the age of Ten, I had only loneliness to show for my efforts, which was why I'd started to wish for strength. In a world where honor was earned by your strength and money earned by defeating the monsters that ran rampant through the entire land my pathetic self couldn't do anything.

If I mysteriously had some strength and stood my ground, I figured someone would at least see me as a human rather than a speck. However, defeating even low-level monsters was incredibly dangerous, and not just anyone could defeat them or kill them.

At least, people who were capable of taking down the monsters were revered as the strongest. And generally belongs to some strong organizations.

There exist the 'adventurers' 'holy knights' and 'mercenaries' belonging to their own organizations. They could wield their 'unique' powerful attack skills, wary from person to person that'd been at least my line of thinking.

The 'Skills' that were unique, were the special gifts from the gods awarded at the time of one's birth.

Everybody had at least one innate skill, and they lived and chose their own path by the use of its power. As their level increased and points were earned, they could still able to level up or buy other skills to Power Up.

Thus, those with strong skills were chosen by the gods as they led their generation to prosper & evolve. That Was at least what was written in the ancient books.

And here I was standing in the middle of the line waiting for my turn to arrive. In the village Seipheor the adventurers will occur once in a while to triumph over the monsters while increasing their ranks.

The villagers who had high levels could hunt down the monsters strive to benefit from them and sell the remains to the adventurers.

The adventurers buy the monster's remains at a meager price while completing the task given by the Guilds increasing their rank and fem in the process.

Although I was still stuck at level 0 and couldn't use any skills, defeating a monster who couldn't even put up a fight was still something easy even for those mobs like me.

Even though In this world, I was unnecessary. I was one of the forsaken, so what? I have people precious to me who gave me hope.

Who were happy when I laugh & sad when I cry and have lived their entire life looking after me while protecting me, always standing by my side to chair me up. They are my parents my protectors, my hope, and my sole existence of living.

Even if I fell into the deep slumber of hell and was abandoned by everyone even by the gods, they are the flickering hope that kept me standing giving me the strength to fight my dark days.

The villagers were never my enemies and I do not disdain them. It was inevitable that my life had reached a stalemate. But I couldn't give it up, not still my parents hadn't given up on me. In the end, I knew that my life would continue to go on as a lonesome, forsaken child.

I have been born without the grace of the gods, born to carry this unshakable fate. In the end, my greatest wish will never be fulfilled.

But at least I could try to live this life to my fullest. I do not loathe my life I want to live it to my fullest without worrying about the loathsome eyes that look at me with contempt.

"Next in line, please." While I was still in my deep thought the muscular adventurer in front of my line peered down at me. He was wearing high-class level armor that was shining in the middle of the day. He chuckled derisively looking at me.

One look at me, and my deprived clothes, he probably figured out I was some low-level wood who was putting his neck on the knife's edge to earn some grants.

Well, whatever was fine by me. If people look at me as a meatless quivering shrimp I could avoid drawing their attention.

I took out my small bag, stuffed with a pair of monster ears on the table.

"Let me see here... What you have got?" He opened the bag without waiting for a second and looked at the pair of ears that were deprived of blood. Glance in my direction looked at my expecting eyes and let out a muffled voice.

"Level 1 monster, honeycomb... 2 Copper coins." The adventurer let out a faint smile and I heaved a sigh of relief. Even though the money I got was meager and misly in his eyes I was genuinely happy with my two copper coins.

I accepted the money carefully placed in my pocket and left the trading line after showing my gratitude towards the adventurer.

[I should give this money to mother to buy health potions for father.] A thought appeared in my mind as I walked forward.
