Having decided what crystal I am going for. I leave Mrykr. The Ghostfire crystal will be the first one I retrieve. All I have to do is find a good mountain on an outer rim planet after all.
The planet with suitable mountains I have chosen is Lah'mu. Some may recognize it has the plant the Erso family escaped to after the clone wars.
This world should have a Ghostfire crystal.
Arriving at Lah'mu, it was a beautiful ringed planet. I landed near an old and large mountain of the planet. I used the force as a guide to the Ghostfire crystal As I was led into a cave. Once I entered deep enough, I was led to the Ghostfire crystal. It was a translucent misty white color. As if it would fade away in a blink of an eye. Hence, I grabbed it quickly just in case it faded away.
I exited the mountain cave with my prize.
Now I have the Ghostfire crystal. Next is the Krayt Dragon Pearl. This will be a task.
A task because I will going after a Greater Krayt Dragon. A 100 meter ten legged sand dragon that is a truly mighty beast. Its pearl would be of a much higher quality. So I headed to Tatooine in my Mothership.
Greater Krayt Dragons spend most of their time swimming in the sands. Hence, I took a scout ship to the middle of the Dune Sea.
On the sand, I started to stomp foot repeatedly. This way, I could attract a Greater Krayt Dragon is I'm lucky.
I was stomping my damn foot for so long the twin suns were going done. I growled in annoyance at how long I've been doing this. I've been using the force to increase vibration strength too.
I sensed a large creature approaching in the distance. I ready a my combistick, this model has plasma enhanced spear ends on the end for better penetration. I ready myself, as I watch a large body rise from the sands.
The Greater Krayt Dragon is truly menacing in the flesh. Even I am intimidated by this powerful apex predator, that is legendary throughout the galaxy. I am confident in defeating it though. It isn't like it spits fire, that's just a fable. It's poison spit is easy to avoid. Even though Krayt Dragons are attracted to places strong in the force, especially the dark side, they can't use any force abilities themselves really.
It stares right at me and growls. I growl back, cocking my arm and throwing my combistick right between its eyes. Hoping to kill it in one go. The combistick hits, but is deflected.
I think internally, "What the fuck! That should have been a weak point! How is the skin resistant to that. It isn't that much weaker than a lightsaber. It should have at least been stuck."
I bring out my plasma cannons and fire off a short barrage at it. The damn thing is a little singed, but relatively unharmed. I roar out, "How the fuck are you this strong! You may be legends, but even in legends you weren't this strong!"
The dragon snarls and I feel the dark side empower it. I see a blue light traveling up its throat in arcs. I mutter out, "Ah fuck...."
The Greater Krayt Dragon breathes Force lightning out of its mouth at me in a roar. I throw my hands up to absorb the lightning storm being directed at me. Just because I haven't learned Force lightning yet doesn't mean I don't how to defend against it.
This is a shit ton of lightning though, I don't know if I can hold much more. Luckily the lightning stops. I then send back the lightning that was absorbed in my hands. It hits the dragon and cause pain to it.
I smile underneath my bio-helmet, "It seems Force abilities still work on it. I am not going to underestimate it anymore though. It shouldn't be able to use Force lightning or be so tough. That Jedi Knight should not have been so skilled in dueling either. I thought I was just in Legends Star Wars. Now my eyes are open. I'm in Legends Star Wars on steroids."
I bring out my wristblades and run to the Dragon. I avoid the head, and go for the 10 legs. Less movement means an easier time for me. I quickly discovered the blades couldn't penetrate. So, I did an experiment. It was rough, but I barbarically coated my wristblades in the force. Using them again, they could cut.
I laugh, "you are weak to the Force, Dragon! Your head is mine and so is your pearl!"
I hop, run, and climb all over its body, striking the legs. All the while avoiding lightning from its maw and bites. As its neck is long, it can turn its head to see me. Its lightning doesn't seem to hurt itself though.
Down to 4 legs left after half and hour, I got cocky. That cockiness caused me to be struck with the lightning finally. I was thrown off the Dragon's body by the bolt. The air left my lungs when I landed in the sand and my body was painful everywhere. Force lightning hurts like you're being bit by bullet ants at your every nerve.
I had to get up to dodge the incoming lightning though. I roared and got back to it. I started to use Force wound, destruction and drain to damage it during all this too. Its vitality was enormous though, so it wasn't enough despite all the damage I did. After an hour of fighting it, its legs were all crippled.
I was using the previously mentioned Force abilities to hurt it, along with my force covered wristblades.
The fight lasted 3 hours of me injuring it on the outside and inside to kill it. I even got with lightning a few more times. Once it dies, I was extremely tired. I had pushed my stamina to the limit and my body was in great pain still from being struck with lightning so many times in those 3 hours.
I needed to finish though before I could rest. I called down my mothership and used drones to start the long process of dissection. It took the whole night, but I got the pearl. I got the Greater Krayt Dragon skull. I got a truckload of highly rich meat and some potentially exciting DNA to research.
I finally headed back to Mrkyr. In my base, I took off my armor and went straight to sleep.
I was so tired...
