Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 Either side of the river

The sentry of the bandits woke up bleary-eyed.

He was drunk, surrounded by bottles of wine. If it weren't for the abdominal pain, he could have stayed there for half a day.

The leader insisted on standing guard, otherwise he could have gone to the tent to warm himself by the fire.

While thinking about the group of shivering villagers, he walked to the back of the snow slope and fumbled to take off his sword.

Is it dark?

When he just opened his eyes, he suddenly realized that there was a giant beast squatting in front of him. The wind was quiet, and the unique footsteps of the patrolman disappeared.

The first thing that came to the sentry's mind was the leader's mount - the fat and strong Bamenro wild boar.

But then he thought again, there were no fangs and saddles, and the black armor was not right.

Awooo!

The sentry disappeared, the bushes began to stir, the strange biting sound did not last long, and blood flowed into the surrounding footprints.

The forest was full of corpses.

The smell of blood was covered by the stench of black rice.

But the nose of the Hayden dog was quite sensitive. The roar of the beast and the falling blood crows were all foreshadowing something.

Finally someone noticed something unusual!

The patrol team responsible for the other end rushed over and uncovered several warm nests along the way. Inside were all assassinated bandit sentinels.

The leader's beard was trembling, and the blue animal eyes were scanning back and forth.

He didn't know that the culprit was also observing him at this time.

Ken leaned against a thick tree trunk, tilted his head, and gestured to let everyone be ready to break out at any time.

[Bandit Temporary Camp]

[Attitude: Hostile]

[Number of troops: 50+9 (prisoners)]

In order to lead the team to sneak in before dawn, every step must be carefully planned, everyone's sight must be calculated clearly, and the hostile targets must be killed in order.

Ken waded through the cold river in the night.

Then he opened the gray vision and cleared the area accurately and steadily.

The troops behind him had no complaints. The veterans of Sandonkaya were already in awe, while the new recruits of Ke'e looked like they had seen a ghost.

The bandits slept, boasted, and took a walk.

Swish——

The sword blades and arrowheads pierced through the vitals, killing them cleanly.

Ken opened his gray vision, and his control of distance exceeded that of a [Centaur], his adaptability to the night was comparable to that of a [Bloodline], and his grasp of the sentinels' psychology was so subtle that he was like a [Wizard] who could read minds.

The militia and tribal warriors looked at each other.

They were wondering, how many people would believe what they saw and heard after returning to the village?

"There are people in the forest!"

The patrol leader shouted loudly, and all the enemies noticed this place and began to rush over!

Ken drew out his steel sword and rolled to the right. Two arrows fell on his original position. Before the opponent got close, he patted his mount.

The Fei Wolf King suddenly jumped out!

The crowd followed closely behind, breaking up the patrol and killing many people in the chaos.

Ken grabbed the wolf's neck hair and jumped onto its back. His steel sword kept splashing blood as he moved. Several mercenaries and bandits were killed.

Even so, there were still too many people.

He commanded the troops loudly, covering the infantry without mounts to retreat back to the bridge.

Then he led his own [Wolf Riders] and turned back to rush into the crowd. The patrolmen were dizzy from the roar of the beasts, fell and rolled in the snow, and kept shouting.

The [Beast Stake] in the distance was opened.

There was no fence in the camp, and those [Snow Lizards] came out one after another. The [Hunter Riders] wearing black armor made strange cries. Their skin was covered with spots and they had a terrifying face.

The spears pointed directly at the bridge.

Ken led his team to block from the side.

The wolves were like spears piercing through the arms, cutting off the team.

Two battle axes with notches swung at him, brushing against his winter coat and slashing into the air.

Ken swung his right fist, blue flames burst, and the fierce fist wind landed steadily on the opponent's head, the helmet was dented, and blood flowed all over the opponent's strange skin.

"You are waiting in line to die, understand?"

The wolf rider taunted loudly.

The Fei Wolf relied on its agility to go back and forth among them, and after pulling full hatred, it retreated to the other side of the bridge with the war flag.

The team ran in front, and the bows and javelins chased behind.

Ken came to the entrance of Ke'e Village, straightened his back, turned around with contempt and looked into the distance.

[Hostile: Bandits]

[Level: B]

[A slightly larger criminal team, united by desire, lacking discipline, but still full of wildness. ]

The hunters followed closely behind.

They had no discipline, and relied on ruthlessness and bravery, making them the toughest opponents.

When the last snow lizard stepped onto the stone bridge, the archers ambushed behind the ruins fired a volley of arrows, which were like a swarm of bees, and the sharp arrows formed a fine net, blocking the soldiers in front.

Without a master, the snow lizard ran into the house.

The hunters behind wanted to escape, but the tribal warriors and the bladers had blocked the way, and everyone was ready with weapons.

The encirclement closed its mouth and swallowed all the enemies.

[Kills: 22]

Assassinations overnight, collisions and breakthroughs, and designing a finale.

Ken presided over the battle of [Ke'e Village]. After several operations, he actually severely damaged the enemy without dying.

The lambs waiting to be slaughtered on weekdays suddenly talked back!

A thunderous anger was brewing among the bandits. Both sides set up a confrontation posture and let the two leaders shout across the river.

[Enemy: Bandit Leader]

[Rank: C]

[A brutal plunderer, greedy and irritable, who cannot tolerate the slightest insult. ]

An adult Barmonro boar stepped out.

It was about the same size as the Fei Wolf King, but a little smaller than the one he had hunted. It had countless scars on its body, and ice stuck to its four hooves.

"Weak and lowly people, present your death!"

The bandit leader roared.

His skin was dark brown, and his two gnarled arms held a round shield in one hand and a short axe in the other.

A bald and mottled head, with fangs protruding from his lips.

[Orcs, not very intelligent, but as cunning and fierce as any opponent. ]

The bandits lined up and burst into curses and slander.

This group of despicable guys actually led the captives out, tied ropes around everyone's wrists, and knelt in line along the river bank.

"Who do you want to kill to pay for your stupid behavior?"

The leader shouted in a hoarse voice.

Kuima called all the soldiers of Ke'e to the bottom of the gentle slope, and looked at them seriously. Zhan Jing had expected this to happen, so he had told them about the countermeasures in advance.

He drew his bow and arrow and said:

"No matter what conversation you hear, no one is allowed to stick their heads out. You must trust Zhan Jing in this matter, otherwise all the captives will die."

Ken drove the wolf forward, his face was terribly cold.

He picked up a spear at his feet with a steel sword, weighed it in his hand, and threw it out quickly, stabbing straight at the captives!

But the aim was off, and a bandit in charge of guarding was pierced through the chest.

The leader was shocked and incoherent. He looked over in disbelief, and actually saw an expression of "pity" on the young man's face?

"You are not from Ke'e Village!"

"Old Gods, you only realized it now." Ken answered calmly, and then his eyes showed contempt. "I am not interested in these captives. On the contrary, I am surprised that you, a fool, are so cowardly."
