Early morning, we sent a letter to one of the fisher kids, whose father we later found out is an Alpha member by wearing the a red white and blue glove with a star in it.
We later got a message saying that someone will be coming to our house to pick us up a day or two from now. They advise us to be vigilant since then.
We convinced our poor neighbors to live in our house while we are gone on the condition that they pretend to be us. We educated them on how to clean the pond and feed the fishes. Whatever food they can cultivate in our land, will be theirs as compensation for taking care of our land.
They were delighted of the exchange.
Two days later, Three knocks were heard from our doors early in the morning.
"Peace be with you." The voice said.
"And also be with you." Father replied.
We opened the door and we see Jake and Royce standing together with three other people.
"We checked the surroundings for any people who might be spying on us, luckily there are none. " Jake said.
"Nice to see you again Jake and Royce, too bad Daniel won't be able to come." Father said. "Please come in."
Jake looked sad. "Yeah, he's still in the hospital right now, recovering. He wanted to leave with us, but unfortunately, we would be travelling for a long time on alternate routes going in to the City of Frendo. We have established a secret base further north of the city of Frendo. It's a very dangerous place with lots of dangerous monsters and animals but we prefer it from being attacked by Beta members."
Jake continued.
"It would probably take us two weeks to reach the city of Frendo. There we would meet with some of our leaders then move to the new base. We are glad that you are coming with us, as we need the guidance from a messenger from God to lead us into the future. Have you prepared all your things?"
"Yes. We are ready to go now." Father said.
"In that case, let's go. We have two carriages ready outside town. It's too dangerous staying here. Come. "
As usual, I am inside the backpack of mother. Father closed the door of the house and he looked at it for one last time.
We moved to different narrow passageways across town. A little bit later, we are walking outside town and hopped into the carriages.
"I hope that you had a good night sleep because it would be a bumpy ride going into the alternate roads. Hopefully we don't see any monsters lurking about. I hope." Jake said.
Mother took me out of the back pack and let me sleep in her lap and fathers lap. Vi looks anxious.
"Don't worry dear, it would be alright. Alpha would protect us." Mother said.
She leaned her head on mothers shoulder and fell asleep.
