"Ow—"
Logan hissed in pain when warm water hit his aching body. Even though he had somehow made it back to his room, the pain had become unbearable.
Every muscle protested as he moved from the training hall to his room. The maid had noticed it and helped him apply an ointment on his wounds.
She also suggested he take a shower with warm water and the pain should disappear. That's what he was doing now.
"Damn, she doesn't hold back," Logan muttered, recalling the kick she gave him to the chest.
He leaned his forehead against the cool tile, trying to get some support from the walls. After a few minutes, the water helped soothe some of the pain. But he knew the pain would take some time to disappear.
Once the pain became negligible, Logan turned off the shower and stepped out, grabbing a towel to wrap around his waist.
