"Um... Logan, I'd need bullets as well," Izna mumbled, fidgeting with the gun.
Logan's smile froze. Bullets. He had completely forgotten about bullets.
"Um, well... you see…"
"Logan, you didn't bring any bullets, did you?" Izna raised an eyebrow.
"Uh, no. I didn't exactly have the blueprints for bullets." Logan laughed nervously. "But hey, the gun can still be useful! You could, you know, use it to... scare people or throw it at them?"
"Seriously?" Izna stared at him, unimpressed.
Not wanting to embarrass himself further, Logan quickly took the gun back and pulled out a kukri before handing it to her.
"Here, this is much better. No need for bullets, just swing away!"
"You know, Logan, sometimes I wonder how you've survived this long." Izna sighed but took the kukri.
"Pure luck and a lot of running," Logan grinned sheepishly. "Trust me, the kukri is great. You'll love it."
Izna shook her head before smiling. "Thanks for the help, but try not to rush mindlessly to save someone next time, alright?"
"You got it--" Logan said, but got interrupted.
While they were talking, a player lunged at him with a knife. Logan blocked the attack with one kukri and slashed with the other, cutting deep into the player's arm. The guy screamed and retreated, not wanting to test Logan's patience.
But then another player rushed towards Logan with a makeshift club. He ducked under the swing and sliced the player's leg, bringing him down. But in doing so, Logan exposed his intentions, and now everyone noticed something.
Logan wasn't attacking them to kill. At first, the players thought they were getting lucky, that maybe he was just missing his mark. But after three of them were taken down, all without being killed, they realized it wasn't luck.
Once the criminals realized that, they grew bolder. Logan could almost hear their thoughts. He knew they had realized what he was doing. Still, he had hoped they wouldn't do something reckless and kept his guard up, watching as they circled around the group.
The next moment, Logan's fears came true. Everyone attacked them at once. Logan moved quickly alongside Snake, blocking and dodging as many attacks as he could while aiming for their legs and arms.
At first, the plan seemed to work. But then Logan felt tired, and his movements became slower. All the constant fighting was finally taking a toll on him.
Then it happened. Logan felt a sharp pain in his side. He looked down and saw a player had got close enough to stab him with a small knife. The wound wasn't deep, but it was enough to distract Logan for a split second.
That was all it took. The other players took advantage of the moment, rushing past Logan and going straight for Izna. Logan turned to help her, but the guy who had stabbed him held him in place.
Right before his eyes, a player swung his club, hitting Izna on the shoulder. The kukri slipped from her hands. Half a dozen guys surrounded her without a weapon to defend herself.
At that moment, something snapped inside Logan. He grabbed the kukri and stabbed the guy holding him in the head, killing him right away.
[You have killed a player!]

Logan's eyes turned red. He had lost all sense of reason, and it was all thanks to a bunch of fools.

"Oi, don't kill her!" Marco yelled over the crowd. "This bitch looked all high and mighty before. But look at her now. Let's have some fun with her before killing her. What say, boys?"
The people looked around each other and, sure enough, they agreed with Marco. Once the trials were over, the authorities would throw them inside the prison. Who knew if they'd ever get to experience such pleasure again?
But Izna wasn't someone who would go down so easily. As the man jumped at her, she ducked and grabbed the kukri from the ground.
Holding the blade, she lunged at the nearest guy, slashing his neck. The man grabbed his neck, trying to stop the blood, but it was too late. He fell to the ground, dead.
"Who's next, fuckers?" Izna said with a smile.
Marco looked at her with disdain. "Get her!"
The crowd jumped at her. Izna tried to fight back and even killed two more people. But the odds were stacked against her. Izna looked at Snake, who was getting crapped on as well.
She tried to find Logan, but Marco and his gang blocked her view. With no way out, Izna accepted her situation. But that didn't mean she would let them do whatever they wanted.
Izna lifted the Kukri, but this time, she pointed it at herself. If she had to die, it would be on her terms, not anyone else's. But right before she was about to stab her neck, someone's blood splattered on her face.
Stunned, she opened her eyes to see one of Marco's lackeys on the ground, his head severed, and on top of the corpse was Logan. But something about him seemed different. He was too quiet, too emotionless.
"Good thing you joined us," Marco laughed. "We have a score to settle!"
Logan didn't reply. He stood there, glaring at everyone. Before anyone could notice him, he moved toward the player who had hit Izna.
The man tried to back away, but Logan was too fast. He raised his kukri and brought it down in a powerful, vertical stab, piercing the man's chest. The player's eyes widened in shock, and he let out a gurgled cry before collapsing to the ground, dead.
The other players froze. Two kills within seconds? How was it possible? But more importantly, why was the guy killing them? Wasn't he supposed to just hurt them?
The group felt sure of themselves because they knew Logan had been holding back. But now that he wasn't, they realized they couldn't compete with him. He wasn't the strongest guy there for no reason.
Unfortunately, it was too late for them to back down now. Logan had turned [Crazed]. There was no escape for them.
