'... Nihility Dimension...'
Atlas issued the summoning command, but nothing happened.
"Mhm?!"
He looked around, searching for the portal, but nothing was around.
"The hell??... Nihility Dimension!"
This time, he shouted the summon, yet nothing changed, posing the young man in front of a problem.
"Hey... is it broken?? What the hell is going on?"
Anxiety started to rise in his heart. After all, if the portal didn't appear, he would have to face a terrible battle. He wasn't scared to face all those enemies, yet he wasn't crazy enough to tangle with all of them.
Nobody except him cared about his current situation.
Indeed, the Bear and the Ice-Winged Melittidure were starting their dominion.
BOOM!!
A terrible explosion occurred, and almost all the creatures in the air slammed to the ground.
The gravity technique from the Rocky-Armored Bear was perfect against such an opponent.
ROAR!
That creature was quite intelligent. Indeed, the Bear didn't waste such an opportunity and, with its sharp teeth, tore away the closest enemy's head.
Icy blood splashed everywhere, but nothing could stop its slaughter.
BOOM! BOOM!
Its claws were even deadlier because each step managed to break the enemy's thorax and head.
The Rocky-Armored Bear was slaughtering those ants like an overlord, yet it wasn't the only one with a powerful technique.
Zii! Zii! Zii!
In fact, the few Ice-Winged Melittidure still aloft descended from the sky and split into two groups. One aimed at the enemy's body with its deadly stingers, and the other made a strange noise as if they were calling for something.
Screech! Screech!
Suddenly, a bright white halo appeared around their companion on the ground, and as if nurtured by an external power, their wings fluttered once again.
ROAR!!
Seeing his precious prey run away, the Rocky-Armored Bear exerted his Beastly Technique again. Unfortunately, the two powers were on different levels, and the weak Ice-Winged Melittidure managed to escape from the battleground.
ROAR!! ROAR!!
Angered by the turn of events, the creature roared frantically against the sky, taunting those cowards, but the next wave of attacks still came.
Deadly stingers fell from the sky like the gods' judgment, leaving the Bear no choice other than to defend against it since worthy opponents were finally showing.
In fact, these creatures were all at the Advanced Stage of the Descendant Chaos Realm like itself, and not inferior creatures at the Intermediate Stage of the Descendant Chaos Realm like those from before.
ROOOOAR!!
With a deafening roar, the fur on the Bear turned similar to an impenetrable layer of rock.
BOOM! ... BOOM!
The stinger hit the target, but they faced something so hard that half of them fell to the ground, shocked by the impact.
ROAR!! ROAR!!
Another wave of attack followed, but they came from the Bear's angry response this time.
ROAR! BOOM! BOOM!
An arduous battle was taking place on the Bear's side, yet he wasn't the only one facing a tricky opponent because those bastards' Ice-Winged Melittidure didn't let the poor Atlas go so quickly.
"Damn, your bloody mother... stupid Bear. It's all your fault!"
Atlas was facing an even more dangerous threat because those creatures could perceive who the monster was between them.
Feeling a threat from the human, they surrounded him with all their elite.
Ice-Winged Melittidure at the Peak Stage of the Descendant Chaos Realm and even the only one at the Initial Stage of the Primordial Descendant Lord Realm were currently aiming at him.
He didn't know why the portal for the Nihility Dimension wasn't showing, but he couldn't let his guard down in such a crucial situation.
The terrifying poison in their body was a tremendous problem, but if he was attentive, this was a battle that he could still win.
"Stony Spirit..."
Atlas summoned his Rocky Stony Spirit, and the creature, which was much taller than before, came out from a portal.
GRUUU!
The Stony Spirit bounced forward, wasting no time.
Its giant hand was even more deadly than the Bear's claws because, with just one wave, two or three enemies were sent flying with terrible wounds.
Atlas wasn't idle either...
"Earthly Submission!"
An even greater gravity force fell on the enemy's head.
They couldn't do anything against it, and all of them, except for the one at the Primordial Descendant Lord Realm, smashed to the ground suffering severe injuries.
Atlas's chops were sharp and deadly, and in his Battle-axe form, Astra mowed one enemy's life after another.
Yet the stronger enemy couldn't let his companions die like this and engaged in a bloody battle with that arrogant human.
The battle on both sides continued for minutes, and no one was spared from the outcome.
The considerable number of enemies gradually consumed Atlas and the Bear's reserves of energy.
Even if Atlas was gaining massive benefits from the dead bodies, the advancement wasn't so significant.
Indeed, after entering the Peak Stage of the Descendant Chaos Realm, the energy required to penetrate the next Realm was extremely high.
The ground was covered in icy blood and carcasses, but no side was ready to halt this madness.
ROAR!!
ZII!! ZII!!
"Damn it... More enemies are coming from the depths of the forest. Surely, the battle will attract unwanted attention from the forest's kings, too. I must finish this quickly, but..."
Atlas was quite impressed by the Rocky-Armored Bear's tenacity and strength during the battle.
He found it a worthy fellow and a good candidate for his temporary mount.
After all, in the World of Oblivion, using a Chaos Creature as a companion was a regular thing. Each day, the cubs of the unique breed were kidnapped and sold at an auction or a slavery compound.
If he could make that creature yield, it was perfect for someone like him who was quite wary of other cultivators.
"... There is no other choice. I must kill all of those annoying flies quickly..."
Grooowl...
Abruptly, a weak noise came from the Bear's side.
After such a long battle, the Bear's reserves reached a dangerous level, and one of the stingers penetrated its sturdy skin.
Grooowl...
More stingers bombarded the poor creature, and his skin started turning a little blue, slowing his movements incredibly.
Looking there, Atlas couldn't endure seeing its target like this, so he ordered his Stony Spirit to defend the creature while he intensified his deadly attacks.
It didn't take long to clean up the Bear's Side, so taking advantage of a moment of peace, the young man approached the wounded Bear and let one of his precious Regenerating Potions go inside its muzzle.
"Calm down... this thing will help you..."
Atlas could do what he wanted since the Bear was already paralyzed.
"Let's finish these annoying flies..."
There was still the creature at the Initial Stage of the Primordial Descendant Lord Realm, but its body was covered in scars, so it didn't take long to gravely injure it.
Atlas tried to finish it, yet the creature flapped its wings so fast that, in no time, it was already far away from the battleground.
Also, the Stony Spirit had completed its task, so the battle concluded, leaving behind almost fifty creatures' carcasses.
Time was short, and Atlas didn't want to stay there any longer, so he collected all the dead bodies into the Nihility Dimension and let the Stony Spirit carry the unconscious Rocky-Armored Bear.
Opening a portal to enter and collect things was completely different, so the Nihility Dimension operated as usual...
