Chapter 86 - The Void and its Wonders part 1

Atlas wanted to know more about the treacherous ruler who dominated this ocean with his sick fantasies, so he asked: "So, you know what Nekrium is up to?"

There was a brief moment of silence as if the creature was thinking about what to say...

GRARLLL!!!

"As I told you before... I don't think you are ready to know the truth of this world... in fact, I don't think you will ever fully understand what drove that fool to commit such a hateful crime against his own world."

Once again, his weakness curbed him to an ordinary mortal and prevented the young man from discovering the hidden truths that had hovered over this world for who knows how long.

"I see..." Atlas added nothing more, and since he had no more reason to stay, he strolled toward the exit.

Having reached a few steps from the flames, the boy turned his puzzled gaze back and surprisingly discovered that the fireball was following him very closely, and the exit was still closed by a colossal firewall.

An absurd thing since he could no longer sense the terrible heat from it.

"Lord Falgnis... should I know more? Why is the exit still blocked?"

No one answered his question.

Falgnis rotated around the young man repeatedly as if he were looking for something, and only after he finished his research did he speak.

GRARLLL!!!

"I will let you go only after I find out how you have managed to hide your presence from my eyes... it is such an impossible feat that I am so damn intrigued by it..."

Hearing those words, Atlas became agitated because, according to him, what had protected him was probably Nihilir.

He could not allow his secret to be revealed, so he tried to deflect the beast's inquisitive gaze: "Perhaps... it is one of the many powers of Chaotiss..."

For the young man, it might have been a proper motivation, but Falgnis knew well what the artifact was capable of...

 GRARLLL!!!

"Impossible... it can do many things, but concealing your presence is not among them..."

"... I sense a strange mystical power inside your body... what are you hiding?"

'Heck... what could he be referring to? Atlas instinctively recoiled, but the creature saw that gesture as a sign of guilt.

GRARLLL!!!

"Fool... the road is blocked... where do you think you're going..."

The creature's roar ceased, but suddenly, a tiny fireball struck the young man's belly...

Bang!

It seemed to be his end, but strangely, he felt no pain from the impact.

It was as if the fireball had been absorbed into his body.

GRARLLL!!!

"How strange... That orb should have hit your mind, but for a moment, I felt a pinch of extremely terrifying power... It reminds me of something... Hmm..."

Atlas was helpless, and the more the creature delved into his secrets, the more the fears in his heart grew.

Unable to understand the creature's words, Rose was puzzled by the strange turn of events. What was going on?

It seemed they could leave, but now everything was back to the way it was before.

Were they still in danger?

Doubt gripped her heart, but she didn't dare to speak to her partner in misfortune.

Falgnis wandered around the cave like a mad splinter.

Its speed was frightening. The only thing visible to the eyes of the two cultivators was a long trail of golden flames that stretched across the cave.

Atlas was covered in sweat, not because of the high temperature but because of the fear of being discovered.

The story continued for a while until the fireball stopped in the air, and the creature's roar rang out again...

GRARLLL!!!

"Now I remember... but how is that possible? It should not exist in this world..."

The ball of fire approached the boy, and Atlas felt his heart throb wildly: 'Damn... what will he do?'

The boy was frightened, but the creature's words shocked him.

"Boy, undress!"

"What?" Atlas shouted, backing away even more.

GRARLLL!!!

"If you don't do it... I'll burn all your equipment... so just do it!"

He certainly didn't want to undress, but he also didn't want to lose his precious equipment, so he gently laid Rose on the ground and quickly removed his armor.

The cloak fell to the ground, followed by the new light armor.

Finding the boy's semi-naked body before her eyes, Rose was overcome with embarrassment, but her eyes could not tear themselves away from that muscle-covered torso.

The Blazerus's belt came undone, and as a result, the traveler's pants fell to the floor, showing his thighs and calves sculpted by years of hard training.

GRARLLL!!!

"I told you everything..."

Noticing the boy's hesitancy, the creature reiterated the concept by making its flames dance above his head.

'Damn... what is it going to do?'

Atlas continued to remove the clothing one by one, and finally, the only thing left to remove was the underwear.

The boy wanted to avoid removing that piece at all costs, but the creature was intransigent.

"That thing too... Do you think I give a damn about the male member of you miserable humans?"

Sigh...

Atlas sighed bitterly and brought his hands closer to the small thread he held that tightened the garment to his waist.

He was one step away from undoing the lace when he remembered something.

He turned his gaze to Rose and saw that lovely face all red and with a dumbfounded expression.

'Hey... what the hell are you doing? At least close your eyes!'

The young man's shout awakened the girl from her stupor. Still, she didn't close her eyes or turned her head, but simply stared back at him.

Her action left him speechless, especially since they were in such a precarious situation. Still, ultimately, he pretended as if nothing had happened and turned the girl's body the other way.

'IDIOT!'

Her behavior was beyond comprehension. How could she be so bold in such a dangerous situation?

Though it was not the right time to argue with that crazy girl.

At last, the last garment fell to the ground, and the creature looked at every angle of the naked body before him...

GRARLLL!!!

"Hmm... I don't see anything strange... Perhaps there is something in your body?"

Falgnis did not find the answers he was looking for and came to a terrible conclusion that terrified the young man: "Wait! There is no need to search my body. Maybe..."

The boy wanted to reason with the creature, but suddenly, the creature's roar shook his mind...
