As Alex looked back to the moment, he quickly noticed how close they were on the bed.
"Alex, come on. Be honest with mommy. I won't bite you or anything."
"Okay, fine. I was just thinking about how lucky I am to have such a kind, beautiful mom——"
"Don't bootlick me like that."
Despite saying that out loud, her face held up a smile as if she was encouraging him to say more.
"I'm not bootlicking. I'm just telling the truth... Mom, I'm a little hungry right now."
Alex murmured as he shifted the topic, trying to make an excuse for both of them to leave the bed.
"Hungry? Here, let Mommy feed you..."
Watching Katherine slowly unbutton her pajamas, Alex was a little stunned.
He had never expected her to take them in that direction, yet his mind couldn't tell her to stop.
"Let Mommy spoil you today, okay? You had been such a good boy yesterday."
