Sat down beside the water body, ready to feast under the moonlight. Hannah closed her eyes to feel the gentle breeze against her body. Her tresses flowed synchronising with the breeze. And the air felt little bit colder than usual making Hannah's nose with a tint of red on the tip like a baby.
"I miss my dad." Hannah said making two of them turn around to look at her with sympathy.
Lett hugged her slowly and Christian patted her shoulder with comfort and warmth. Hannah looked at the stars with so much adoration.
"Christian, look at those stars. My mom used to tell me that our ancestors could hear us from above. My parents and your mom must be aware that we love them so much and still long for their presence."
Christian looked at the stars that are shining so bright and then back at her.
"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" He said with so much love in his eyes. Witnessed by the ancestors and the primal God, he confessed her.
" Very much." Hannah replied having no clue about what he just said.
A small smile crept on Scarlett's face as she realised what Christian said, but didn't complain as Hannah barely trust any guys and didn't want to break their relationship as long as she was happy.
"Aren't we forgetting something guys? THE FOOD!!" Lett screamed diverting them.
Three of them had their small talk while having their meal.
"Where would you stay in the meantime of your internship?" Christian asked Scarlett.
"Booked a hotel" Lett said while munching on either sides.
"You could've stayed with me." Hannah replied.
"Yeah I agree! You could've stayed with your long lost sister." Christian added up.
"I've already booked in the Queens Hotel Leeds and there'll be no refund." Lett said smiling with sarcasm.
" No worries. You can stay with Hannah if you want. I'll take care of the refund." Christian shrugged.
Hannah turned at him suspiciously expecting for what did he mean by that.
"Well, it was named after my mom." Christian again shrugged saying this.
"Don't tell me that 5 star Hotel is your family's." Scarlett said widening her eyes being all amused.
"Well! I'm not surprised anymore. This guy, he's been hiding everything ever since." Hannah said with anger.
"I'm not! You just didn't ask me about it. I just wanted to help you guys stay together and now it's become my fault. Well, I'm not surprised anymore that I get blamed once more." Christian said mimicking the last sentence while rolling eyes at her.
" Alright! Alright! Why wouldn't I want to stay with my best friend? I just thought it would be intervening to stay jus..."
Hannah interrupted Scarlett before she could finish her sentence.
"Christian I don't know what your be doing. I want her to stay with me and that's it."
"Consider it done Madame." Christian said bowing like a service man would do to the Queen.
"It's late, we should get going" Hannah said looking at the time.
And they departed as Christian drove them to Hannah's place.
"How about some coffee? " Hannah asked him while getting off the car.
"Nah! How about I pick you up tomorrow?" Christian asked Hannah.
" Sounds pretty good! I don't have to wait for my bus." Hannah said smiling with agreement.
"Then it is. And don't forget about the match, it's just 3 days away. Ask if Scarlett could join us and let me know earlier so that I can prepare things for you guys." Christian said reminding her for the nth time.
"Alright mate, I'll update you sooner. You should leave, it's getting pretty late. Meet you tomorrow." Hannah replied as she balanced herself in the window railing of the car.
Christian left with a huge smile plastered on his face remembering the entire day. Every single moment he fell for her a bit more harder. No idea of what she's doing to him, Hannah went inside with Lett for the girls talk.
