Raena stood at the edge of the courtyard, her heart pounding with anticipation as Professor Jes prepared the students for the upcoming speed race. You could feel that the excitement in the air was palpable, and Raena could feel the thrill of the competition stirring within her.
"Raena!" Aurora made her way towards her friend again, leaning closer to Raena as she tried to whisper words. "Who do you think will win this race?"
Our girl gave Aurora the best smirk. "Us, for sure!"
Aurora giggled. "Oh, come on, you don't have to sugarcoat things to sound kind, Raena."
"Sugarcoat?" Raena scoffed but with an unexpected smile, as she laughed it off, rolling her eyes before she responded again. "I'm just saying, why can't we root for ourselves, you know? Just like what Professor Jes told us... it's the confidence that matters!"
