Luckily for me, my mom still had contacts of her past gang with her. That was the only way I could find Kevin's house address and even find out that Cassandra was in trouble. I had not heard from Cassandra and I was becoming suspicious that something was wrong. Immediately I got into town, I went straight to Kevin's house, knocking on the door.
The door opened after a while, my gaze falling on Kevin and a face that looked almost just like me. My jaw dropped seeing the striking resemblance that we both had. But that isn't my concern now, finding Cassandra was.
"Pauline what are you doing here?" he asked looking confused as to why I was standing at his doorstep. If I were him too, I'd be confused too.
"Cassandra is in trouble," I replied without hesitation. It was pointless beating around the bush.
"What?!" He exclaimed. "How is she in trouble? She's with Anthony," he said, still trying to dispute the fact that I said she's in trouble.
