I was seated in the living room all day, my gaze fixed on the signed contract by my father, giving me out for marriage. If I do not sign the contract, then I lose the orphanage home. I've come too far now to lose the orphanage home and start all over again. The children are happy and safe, nothing gives me more joy and peace knowing that they're happy.

I took up the pen that was on the table, my hands quivered as I signed the contract, accepting the marriage proposal. Tears welled up in my eyes, I was doing this because I dared to dream and I was going to protect that dream at all cost. I sent the contract back via the mailman, I couldn't afford to go and give it to him myself, I'm too heartbroken to approach him myself. Never in a million years did I imagine that I'll marry in such a way, by contract. Neither did I imagine that I would get married to a Mafia, when deep down all I ever had for them was deep hatred.
