Chapter 147 - Two Days

Even Seitanshi looked down, trying to find El, but there was nothing. Only the cold night air greeted her, gently brushing her hair.

"That man..." she muttered in a voice full of emphasis, her eyes still staring into the darkness outside. "It's completely arbitrary!"

At that moment, Seitanshi's tone sounded angry and resentful, but there was something that she couldn't hide a deeper feeling, a feeling that made it impossible for her to truly hate El.

She let out a long breath, slowly closing the window with slightly trembling hands. "What a stubborn person..." she muttered, before turning around and walking back to her bed, carrying a feeling that was getting harder and harder to understand.

Meanwhile, somewhere, El finally arrived on the balcony of his house after a difficult journey, jumping from one building to another, while feeling pain all over his body. Now, with limping steps.

El's body was barely able to support itself, while fresh blood continued to flow from the corners of her eyes, nostrils, ears, and mouth, leaving dark red marks on the clean floor.

With trembling hands, he opened the balcony door and entered. His vision blurred and body moved only because of the last instinct that forced to go home. The pain had already left his half-unconscious.

Luckily, Kayo, Aoi, and Sawa were already deep in their sleep. To ensure they were not disturbed throughout the night, El had previously used hypnotic eyes to calm their minds, ensuring their sleep remained deep.

Arriving in front of his room, El opened the door with the last of his strength left. His body staggered before he finally flopped onto the soft mattress, El's breathing heavy and irregular.

The dim moonlight came in through the window of the dark room, reflecting softly on the floor. On the bed, El's body lay unconscious, her face pale with weakly audible breathing.

On the right side of the bed, Kayo, Sawa, and Aoi sat reclined, their heads bowed, slumbering in exhaustion. Their little faces looked peaceful even though their tiny bodies showed signs of deep fatigue.

Perhaps it was from a long day of taking care of El who kept coughing up blood, or perhaps it was the worry that had exhausted them.

El's blood-stained clothes have now been replaced with clean clothes. The faint smell of detergent mixed with the iron odor of blood lingered in the air.

El's eyelids twitched slowly. His eyes opened little by little, his vision blurry before finally coming into focus.

His eyes stared at the ceiling of the dark room, gathering consciousness. A soft, familiar scent tickled his nose. He turned his head in the direction it came from.

There, the three girls were asleep with their heads resting on the edge of the mattress. Their faces looked tired yet serene. Seeing that scene, El's expression softened slightly.

"Why are they sleeping here?" he murmured softly, his voice hoarse, almost a whisper.

Looking at them one by one, El could notice their regular breathing. Then the faint scent of blood coming from himself dawned on his.

"This scent... my blood? Is it possible that I'm coughing up blood again without realizing it? They're taking care of me?" he muttered, her eyes looking at them coldly but without ill will.

El let out a long sigh, staring at the ceiling with a burdened gaze. "Apparently, I'm really inconveniencing them."

El's words stopped for a moment, hanging in the air while reminiscing about the past in the world of Kimetsu No Yaiba. "Before, when I was injured like this Shinobu took care of me... and now the three of them are doing it."

"Fortunately, it's only two days. That means I still have three days before the Kanto War starts. It's also already 5am," El said with a sigh of relief.

Slowly, El got off the bed. As he stood up, his body felt unsteady, but his reflexes immediately restored his balance. His breathing was regular though a little heavy, and he began to focus his mind.

His eyeballs slowly transformed, Rinnegan activated. The world seemed to stop for a moment. In the tense silence, his eyeballs changed slowly, from ordinary irises to a mesmerizing cosmic sight.

Rinnegan began to glow, emitting a faint purple light like the stars in the night sky.

Inside his eyes, it was as if a galaxy was alive, spinning endlessly. Spiral nebulae mixed with tiny points of light that blackened rapidly, like stars that were born and died in a single blink.

The aura around him suddenly changed drastically. The air became heavier, almost suffocating, as if a power beyond this world was beginning to rise.

With a focused gaze, El activated Hell Path. When Hell Path activated, a deep silence enveloped the surroundings. The air turned heavy and cold, as if it merged with the fear that suddenly burst forth from unseen depths.

Amidst the silence of El's room, without warning, purple flames emerged from the floor. It twisted wildly, but did not burn anything around it. Its purple light bounced off the walls, creating moving shadows that felt unnatural.

Along with the flames, a chill ran through the room, so piercing that it made breathing feel even heavier. The previously calm air now felt heavy, almost as if time itself had slowed down.

From within the flames, the Head of the Hell King slowly emerged. His large, sinister face came out with a gaping mouth, revealing sharp teeth that seemed to chew through the darkness.

The hell king's eyes containing Rinnegan rolled slowly, emitting a strange and terrifying galactic light. Just one look from him was enough to make the soul feel sucked into a bottomless pit.

The giant head loomed in the center of the room, carrying a gripping aura of death. Subtle whispers like the screams of tortured souls sounded faintly in El's ears like musical echoes as if coming from another dimension.

Everything in the room felt frozen under his presence. El stood in front of the head, her glowing Rinnegan eyes staring back fearlessly, as if she was the sole ruler over the terrifying entity.

On the other hand, as soon as the purple flames appeared and the Hell King's head loomed up with an eerie aura, Kayo, Sawa, and Aoi were instantly jolted from their sleep.

They felt a chill that pierced to the bone, forcing them fully awake.

Kayo and Aoi, who could see the figure of the giant head with Rinnegan's full eyes, froze in silence. Their bodies trembled, unable to utter a single word.

The sight of El standing firmly before the King of Hell gave the impression as if she was the sole support of the world amidst the terrifying chaos.

However, Sawa, who could not see, just sat silently. Although she didn't know what was happening, the cold and the terrifying pressure were enough to make her hair stand on end. Fear seemed to creep into her body, even though her eyes were blank with no direction.

Without hesitation, El began to step towards the Hell King's mouth. His face remained cold without the slightest trepidation. When the huge mouth opened wide, revealing a bottomless pit-like darkness, El stepped inside.

The Hell King's mouth slowly closed, his sharp teeth seemed to be chewing something with a slow crunching sound.

"A-Adrian-san!" Aoi suddenly burst into tears, her tears flowing freely.

She watched El's figure being swallowed by the monstrous creature with a horror she could not express.

Meanwhile, Kayo only gulped. Her body was stiff, breaking out in a cold sweat. Although he had experienced how the King of Hell's mouth worked, this scene still shook his heart.

"Even though this is the second time I've seen Adrian-san use that power... I'm still scared..." Kayo muttered softly, voice trembling.

Suddenly, the King of Hell's mouth opened again. From within, emerged El who stood upright, looking fresher and healthier as if he had never been injured.

He sighed softly. "It's a good thing I have multifunctional abilities," he muttered while observing his own condition.
