Chapter 127 - Entrust Kayo

El smiled slightly, nodding her head as she patted the head of one of the children nearby, while they all surrounded her with awe and respect.

In thought, El let out a heavy imaginary sigh. 'This must all be due to the effects of the Loli Killer title...' he said, in thought remembering the other effects of the title.

Then El let out an imaginary sigh, 'I hope, the next Mission World doesn't have Loli. For some reason, I can feel an inexplicable sense of danger.'

'There was this air, as if people saw everything and were holding their phones, ready to call the police.' El said in his mind.

However, among the crowd, there were two figures who remained in their places, slightly distanced from the others.

Enju and Tina stood side by side, looking at El with curious expressions, as if they were trying to understand something different about her. They didn't join the crowd, but still watched her with attentive eyes.

Enju had long dark red hair, tied into two ponytails up to her knees, exposing her neck which was adorned with two black rabbit-shaped identifying marks. Her eyes were a deep red slice with small black pupils, giving a soft yet firm impression.

She wore an orange hooded sweater with red-orange square motifs in it, paired with a long white camisole-like dress.

A thigh-length skirt held up by a large belt completed the look, along with black knee-high boots with thick soles. The tops of the boots were decorated with red accents and zippers, perfect for battle.

Next to Enju, stood Tina with short platinum blonde hair that was slightly fluffy, adorned with several small hairpins that were randomly attached but looked unique

Her irises were a soft blue color, giving the impression of always being sleepy, adding a calm character to her face.

Tina wore a long green and black lace dress, designed in a graceful yet classic lolita style. On her sleeves, she wore dark green cuffs that matched her dress, adding a unique sense of elegance to her appearance.

"Enju-chan, do you know that person?" asked Tina in a curious tone as she turned to Enju.

Enju shook her head softly without looking away. "I don't know them. This is my first time seeing them."

Meanwhile, at the front of the class, Rentaro stopped writing on the blackboard, then looked at El and Kayo curiously. "Who are they? Why are they here? What is their motive for coming to a place like this?" Rentaro thought to himself.

Before long, Rentaro broke the silence with a question, "Elder, do you know that man? The children seem very happy to welcome him," he asked curiously.

But before the Elders could answer, Kisara suddenly interjected, "Hmm, Satomi-kun. I think I know that guy," he said with a slight frown, trying to remember something.

Rentaro turned his head, looking at Kisara with raised eyebrows. "Huh? You know him? Kisara?" he asked, his curiosity peaked.

Kisara nodded, gathering his memories. "I have a little information about him," she said thoughtfully. "If I'm not mistaken, he's known as the 'First Rookie'. Only a month into being a Civil Security independent, he's already reached an IP of 6,640. His name is El Ira Adrian, and his Initiator, Kayo Senju."

"Woah... So, he's that strong?" Rentaro looked a little surprised, trying to imagine how strong El really was. "But, what is the purpose of her coming to this place?"

The elder stepped forward, approaching Rentaro and Kisara. "Maybe he wanted to go to the outer area again. That person often goes outside the monolith area."

"Huh!? Has he gone crazy!?" exclaimed Rentaro and Kisara in unison, their expressions showing shock and disbelief that there were crazy people like El and Kayo.

On the other hand, while Rentaro, Kisara, and the Elders were lost in their conversation, Enju and Tina slowly walked over to El and Kayo, curiosity piquing them to know more about the two people they had just met.

"Hey, who are you two? How come you're suddenly the center of attention here?" Enju asked with a curious smile. "Do you guys have any cool tricks to get the other kids interested?"

"Hello... I haven't seen you guys before. Are you new friends here?" Tina asked while looking at El with a curious yet gentle expression. "You guys seem... different."

El nodded slowly without saying a word to Tina and Enju, then stepped out of the crowd of Cursed Children. Kayo, Enju, and Tina could only look at each other, confused by his sudden action.

El's steps were very slow, barely making a sound, as if he was just a shadow that blended in with the destruction around his as he walked.

When he arrived, El paused for a moment, looked at the Elders with a respectful nod, then turned his gaze towards Rentaro and Kisara.

His voice was calm, icy, yet without a hint of menace. "Are you the teachers for them?"

Rentaro and Kisara exchanged glances, slightly surprised by El's question. There was a moment of tension, before Rentaro, in a hesitant tone but trying to remain calm, replied, "Yes... I teach them the basics." He paused for a moment, then added, "And Kisara... he helps more in terms of... uh, support?"

Kisara cleared his throat slightly, glancing at Rentaro with an annoyed expression, but soon turned to look at El. "We want to make sure they have some basic knowledge in this harsh world," she said, trying to gauge El's reaction.

El nodded slowly, his expression remaining level. "You're doing a tough job. These children... they need someone who can be a teacher." Her voice softened slightly, but still sounded cold. "I commend you."

The elder smiled with wisdom, then interjected, "Adrian, you seem to care about them, don't you? You often bring some children to this place and make a big donation." He looked at El with a gaze that seemed to read hearts.

El was silent for a moment, before finally saying in a flat tone, "They shouldn't be blamed. I just wanted to protect them, that's all."

In the distance, Enju and Tina continued to watch their conversation with growing curiosity.

Tina whispered to Enju, "That guy... it's not like he just came to visit. Maybe he has other plans?"

Enju gave a small nod. "Yes, but... I feel like he has no bad intentions. There's something... different."

Kayo, who had been standing beside Tina and Enju, looked at Rentaro and Kisara with interest. 'What exactly was that ice statue thinking this time? Why did she bring me to this place?' she thought.

After looking at Rentaro, El said calmly, "I want to leave Kayo, my Initiator here for a while. I have some business to take care of."

Unexpectedly, that statement triggered a strong reaction from Kayo. With quick steps and deliberate stomping of her feet, she walked towards El, her facial expression full of emotion. Without hesitation, she began to berate El with nicknames she had long harbored.

"Nervous person! Gastrea maniac! Failed promoter! Ice sculpture! Wall-face!" Kayo gave El an annoyed look, then folded her arms across her chest. "What else... Oh, numb face! Argh! How can there be someone like you?"

There was a moment of silence, then Kayo quickly added, "You think this is a daycare center? You crazy bastard! I'm going to be depressed for a long time... argh!"

El remained silent, letting the scolding pass by like a breeze that didn't shake her in the slightest. Her calm reaction made Kayo even more anxious, but also more aware that her protests only made El smile faintly.
