Although a little confused, Sawa smiled and began singing the lyrics to Tanjiro no Uta from Go Shiina's Kimetsu no Yaiba OST.
Beside her, Yuri played her violin with graceful movements, as the melody flowed gently, creating a beautiful and emotional harmony.
One by one, the pedestrians who didn't care for and even hated Cursed Child began to stop, mesmerized by the unfamiliar yet emotional melody emitted from the song.
The song sounded gentle yet heartfelt, bringing them back to old memories, memories of happy, carefree children, the time before Gastrea changed their world.
As the crowd grew larger, El, who was watching with sharp eyes, activated his Rinnegan. With deep focus, El used the ability of the Hypnotic Eye to slightly play with the minds and bodies of the people around.
One by one, those gazed upon by his eyes were caught up in the illusory world created by her.
The projection of those happy memories rushed into their minds. They were back in a peaceful time, before their world was destroyed by Gastrea. Their hearts were filled with deep regret.
Suddenly, a man fell to his knees, tears streaming down his face. "What did I do... How could I hate children who are clearly innocent?" he said in a trembling voice, his cries growing louder.
Then, an old woman standing nearby spoke in a broken voice, "The real monster is me... I'm ashamed to call myself human! I'm sorry..." Her tears flowed freely, like unstoppable rain.
Behind them, a young woman sat limply, holding her face with trembling hands. "Because of hatred and anger... I went blind!" her voice was full of regret.
"I threw my baby into the water... I'm not worthy to be called a mother..." the woman's cries were heartbreaking, as if the entire weight of her life fell on her.
Kayo, who was silent watching the whole scene, was shocked. No words came out of her mouth. "What happened! ?" he thought in confusion and shock.
Looking at the crowd of people who were now beginning to feel deep regret, El just stood still, 'It's good to have the ability to see fate...' she said in her mind.
The incident lasted for about five minutes. Afterward, people's expressions changed drastically; their hatred towards the Cursed Child was replaced by compassion.
With their resolve now changed, some of them left, planning to speak out for justice for the Cursed Child and protest the ongoing discriminatory treatment.
"Alright, that's it!" said Yuri as she lowered her violin. "Now it's time to eat! And Adrian's buying! The main course must be steak! Or any meat, except pork, but I'm allergic to the fat."
El sighed heavily and nodded. "Alright," he replied, then glanced at Sawa. "Sawa, go bring your sister here. We'll eat together, and you can order whatever you want. My treat."
A bright smile instantly graced Sawa's face at El's offer. "Really? Thank you very much! I'll go home and bring my sister," she replied excitedly.
El then turned to Kayo. "Kayo, accompany Sawa. Bring her sister here, we'll both be waiting in this place."
Kayo nodded, understanding El's intentions which although seemingly cold, were still sincere. "Alright," she replied briefly, then walked with Sawa to pick up her little sister.
Inside the elegant restaurant, El, Kayo, Yuri, Sawa, and Sawa's younger sister sat at a table by the window, enjoying the countless sumptuous dishes spread out in front of them.
The aroma of grilled steak, grilled fish, and everything meaty filled the air, tantalizing them every time they sliced the tender, flavorful meat on their plates.
Sawa and her younger sister look carefree, enjoying the meal with happy smiles, as if this meal is a rare and precious experience for them.
Sawa's sister, who has silver hair similar to her brother, displays the distinctive Cursed Child mark of bright red eyes. The clothes she wore were simple and shabby, a long dress that was starting to wear out, covered with a dull blue cloak that protected her small body.
Yuri, on the other hand, was enjoying her meal with grace, cutting her steak with smooth movements, seemingly content with her current state.
Thanks to Yuri's fate-seeing ability and his plan, to which he added some Hypnotic Eye tricks, they managed to create a bit of chaos outside.
This kept the restaurant calm and free from the discrimination usually aimed at the Cursed Child. For the first time, Sawa and her little sister were able to enjoy this meal without feeling watched or judged by society's views.
On the other hand, Kayo looked at the scene outside the window, the street that was beginning to fill with low noise. On the opposite sidewalk, two groups of people could be seen arguing.
The first group, with hateful faces, shouted hatred at the Cursed Child, cursing them and even wanting them gone or dead.
On the other hand, the second group stood as defenders, demanding that the Cursed Child be treated with the same dignity and rights as other children.
Kayo watched the scene with a shocked expression and whispered, "In just a few hours, it has become like this? How come?"
Yuri, who was enjoying her steak quietly, only smiled faintly and turned to her. "This is the horror of society, Kayo-chan," she said in a calm tone. "Once there is a difference of opinion, then a small spark can turn into a riot."
Kayo took a deep breath, her eyes glued to the two groups that continued to shout and argue, feeling the gravity of the situation. There might be a huge wave of chaos in the city.
At the table, El sat quietly, her eyes looking serious though his face remained cold. There was something he was thinking deeply about.
"This is beyond the word 'troubling,' Lily..." he muttered softly, occasionally glancing at Yuri who was enjoying the meal elegantly.
"Hihi," Yuri gave a small chuckle. "You guys have nothing to worry about. This chaos is just the beginning. The human race will change, sooner or later."
"Even if all you see now is chaos." Her voice sounded soft but confident, as if chaos was part of her plan.
Kayo frowned, trying to understand the meaning of Yuri's words. Secretly, he was getting curious about El and Yuri.
They seemed to be distant entities, difficult to reach by ordinary understanding, as if they held unexplored depths.
The atmosphere was a little quiet, until a low voice from Sawa's younger sister finally broke the silence. "Ano... Oni-san and Onee-san, I really thank you."
El turned his head, looking at the little girl. With a slow nod, she replied coldly, "I only did what needed to be done. Your sister's singing is very good, that's all. Giving him an award is not too much."
Yuri waved his hand casually before finally saying, "No problem. I just wanted to see something interesting." Her tone of voice was so light, as if making a mess was normal for him.
El looked at Yuri with a flat gaze, holding her thoughts silently. "This girl... I bet she gets reprimanded by her teachers a lot," she thought to himself, sighing inwardly.
Then, Yuri shifted attention, glancing at Sawa's younger sister. "By the way, what's your name?"
The little girl looked a little surprised, hurriedly looking down with her face flushed with embarrassment. "Ah, sorry... I forgot to introduce myself," she said softly. "My name is Aoi Sorasaki."
{N/A: Once again. I'm telling you, I really don't know what their names are. So I'll just give it to you, it shouldn't matter, right?"}
Yuri smiled warmly and nodded. "Nice to meet you, Aoi-chan!"
"Yes, nice to meet you too, Lily One-san!" said Aoi with a genuine smile, though her face was still dusty.
Yuri smiled mischievously, with a nosy idea crossing her mind. "If you want to live comfortably every day, come to Adrian's house! You can live there. He's the richest man in the country, a real sugar daddy!" he exclaimed with a chuckle.
"Woah... Really?" asked Aoi and Sawa, then glanced over to where El was, with Aoi's twinkling eyes. "Can we stay with you?"
El sighed heavily at Yuri's careless comment, but kept his tone calm. "You're always welcome anytime, I don't mind."
