An instant later, the Transmitter Iron and Varanium Metal began to slowly disintegrate, turning into purple-colored energy particles. These particles floated in the air, moving towards Metsu's blade, which now began to glow in an intense purple light.
The glow looked like a mystical fire burning, symbolizing the new power that was soon to coalesce in the blade.
Cold sweat ran down El's back, arms, and forehead. Every second that passed drained his stamina, mental energy, and even his soul quickly and intensely.
Fortunately, El had enhanced the VIT attribute beforehand, so her body was still able to endure this unification process, even though it felt like it was being crushed under a tremendous weight and had to use the Demon Slayer Mark.
"Ugh, still not..." sighed El, forcing himself to stay focused while clenching his palms tightly.
Finally, the last particles of Transmitter Iron and Varanium Metal were completely absorbed into the Metsu. The blade was now perfectly fused with the two materials, although its color still remained black.
El's body fell backwards, suddenly losing all strength. "Crazy! I'm really exhausted..." he said, as he took out a Star Crystal from the Storage Ring.
The crystal's soft white light began to seep into her, restoring her nearly depleted stamina and mental energy. Slowly, strength returned to his drained body.
El stood up and picked up Metsu who had gained new power. "But, the results are very satisfying." he said, looking at the hologram screen in front of his.
Ding!

A smile spread across his handsome face. "You've become quite amazing, my friend," he murmured with satisfaction as he admired the results of his hard work.
However, in the midst of that excitement, his cell phone suddenly rang, breaking the silence. El sighed, annoyed, and put Metsu into the Storage Ring.
After making sure Metsu was safely tucked away, El reached into his pocket, took out his cell phone, and saw Kayo's homeroom teacher's name appear on the screen. With a flat look, he sighed heavily before picking up the call. "Yes, what's wrong?"
An elderly woman's voice sounded on the other end of the line, sounding hesitant. "Ano... are you Kayo Senju's guardian? Can you come to school now?"
"Alright, I understand." El replied to Kayo's homeroom teacher's words with a tone that had no intention of chatting.
After that, El hung up the phone call, "What crazy thing is that little girl doing?" he said, while walking towards the exit.
Arriving at the door, before opening it, El took the Trench Coat hanging on the hanger, put it on and opened the door of his house.
***
El walked along the crowded sidewalk, among the busy people passing by. In the midst of the crowd, her gaze fell on a small figure who looked gloomy, pulling her bag lazily. It was Kayo, and from the look on her face, it was clear that something was bothering her.
Without hesitation, El stepped closer to him. Kayo didn't notice his presence until El stopped beside her and lowered her head slightly, touching her head gently. Kayo was silent, not saying a word,
But from the faint scent, El could clearly sense the frustration and sadness that enveloped the little girl.
"Want to come look for lunch?" asked El in a cold and calm tone, though there was no ill intent behind his words.
Kayo didn't reply with words; she just nodded slowly, as if agreeing to follow El.
After ordering takoyaki, El and Kayo walked towards a park that was quite crowded with people. They chose an empty bench in the center of the crowd, and sat down together.
El began to enjoy the takoyaki while it was warm, while Kayo just stared blankly without touching the food El bought for her.
Slowly, El glanced at Kayo, noticing the sad look on the little girl's face. He sighed, then wordlessly put his takoyaki aside and took Kayo's takoyaki, keeping it next.
Suddenly, without any prompting, El stood up and lifted Kayo in a frontal position, holding her tightly like a prince holding a royal princess.
Kayo gasped, her blush turning embarrassed at the unexpected action. "Ice sculpture, what are you doing!" she exclaimed, her face turning red.
However, El remained silent, ignoring Kayo's protests. Quickly, he darted forward, moving so fast that their bodies were almost invisible to the naked eye.
The wind rustling around them made Kayo pause, her surprise turning to amazement as they ran through the crowd, as if leaving all burdens and sorrows behind.
El not only ran through the crowd, but also began leaping from building to building with incredible agility, crossing the high gaps between buildings.
His steps were light yet precise, and as if gravity did not apply to him, he ran across the sloping walls, leaving the rules of nature behind.
Kayo paused, stunned at the unbelievable movements that El displayed. Moves that were so inhuman, performed seamlessly without any sign of showing off.
During their stay together, Kayo finally understood that El was not the type of person who liked to show off his abilities.
Before long, they reached the roof of a quiet fifth-floor building, far from the hustle and bustle below. El lowered Kayo carefully, while Kayo's hair was slightly messy due to the wind.
However, there was a noticeable change in the little girl's face, her blank stare was now gone, replaced by a softer calm.
"So, tell me what happened at school?" asked El, her voice calm yet caring. "You just started school a week ago, right?"
Without saying anything, Kayo suddenly hugged El tightly and started sobbing. She let go of the burden she had been holding back, as she talked between her tears, recounting what had happened at school.
El was silent, letting Kayo pour out her feelings, she patted the little girl's head gently, giving her space to shed all her sorrows, providing a sense of security in the middle of the vast silence of the roof.
After five minutes had passed, Kayo finally stopped crying. The scales of her eyes looked red from crying, with her bottom group bruised. Her cheeks were still wet, as was part of El's shirt which was also soaked with her tears.
"Sorry," Kayo muttered in a low voice, turning her face away with a cute pouting expression.
El just smiled slightly and shook his head. "No problem, as long as you've calmed down." With that, she turned around and walked towards the edge of the roof, preparing to jump down.
Kayo looked at El's broad, sturdy back, then smiled gently. Although El had a cold, indifferent, and slightly crazy attitude, Kayo felt grateful to have a Promoter like him.
Behind his seemingly uncaring and sometimes unreasonable nature, El was someone who was always there in her time of need.
Kayo knew there were many things that might make others uncomfortable working with someone like El. Who in their right mind would visit the outer area as if it were just an outing, hunting down a stage 3 or 4 Gastrea without fear?
However, to Kayo, that was the El she knew, strong, unpredictable, and despite his sometimes elusive demeanor, he had a warm heart that was only visible to those who knew him intimately.
As Kayo was transfixed watching El's back slowly move away, El suddenly jumped off the edge of the building, disappearing downwards in one agile movement.
Suddenly, Kayo followed him. Even as she grumbled and continued to protest, "Ice sculpture! Promoter failure! Reckless people! Wait for me!" she jumped, sliding down from the fifth floor without hesitation.
Over the past few days, apart from hunting down Gastrea, El fulfilled her promise to Kayo, teaching him the Demon Hunter Technique. El taught Kayo the basics of Total Breathing Concentration and a complex fighting style: Fog Breathing Style.
Although still far from perfect, with his strong body thanks to the Gastrea Gene, Kayo was able to make up for some of his shortcomings in this technique.
The Gastrea Gene gives him incredible endurance and physical strength, making it easier for him to withstand the intensity of using the Breathing Style and Total Breathing Technique.
However, the Fog Breathing Style remained a great challenge. Kayo could only master three of the seven basic moves, as the technique required great concentration and complete mastery of Total Breathing Concentration, which was still difficult for him.
Each move is complex and demands calm and sudden movements like mist, something he is still in the process of understanding.
