Chapter 96 - A Tough Battle

Feeling that his stamina recovery was too slow, and before Kokusibo arrived at this place, El quickly took out the Stamina Restorer Potion from the Item Storage Ring and immediately drank it.

In one breath, El's stamina recovered slowly. The six tomoe orbiting like a solar system reappeared, rotating one by one.

El sighed, "Fyuh~ my body feels refreshed," she said with a wry smile. With his stamina restored, El was able to maintain Mark for a while longer.

Not long after, El felt a bad feeling that a powerful attack was about to come his way. Quickly, El moved, immediately moving away from where he was currently standing.

Kokusibo's voice rang out from above, "Tsuki no kokyū." he said in a tone like drops of dew falling slowly, coldly and without vibration.

In an instant, a barrage of attacks came from above, like a storm surge that came suddenly without warning.

The first wave of long, curved slashes, layered on top of each other, formed a vortex of crescent blades that tore through the air and brutally split the wooden floor.

The second wave followed from the sky, with a barrage of curved slashes that fell like a rain of wild crescent blades, smashing and slicing into the surroundings.

As a result, the large wooden pillars around her were split open, shattered as if by a storm and the wooden floors were torn to shreds.

El managed to dodge most of the attacks by using the Gen'nichi Kō Movement repeatedly, creating a zigzag pattern with each step. However, some attacks still managed to hit him, adding to the scratches on his already bleeding body.

However, another follow-up attack came rushing in. A huge wave of cold wind appeared from above, spreading at an incredible speed, creating a dangerous icy foggy area, all over the area where El was.

With Rinnegan's Eye of insight, El realized the danger that threatened him. He could clearly see that this cold wind was created by the demon Blood Art. "This cold wind is dangerous," he muttered, holding his breath, feeling the chill penetrating his skin.

At the same time, another attack appeared from above. From the ceiling, a barrage of countless thin and sharp shockwaves began to rain down on El, destroying everything in front of him.

El felt a violent vibration in the air, and in an instant, he realized that he had to react immediately.

Utilizing successive Gen'nichi Kō Moves, El avoided the extremely dangerous ice-fogged area to take a moment to catch his breath.

In one agile movement, El leapt onto one of the tall pillars, planting Metsu to serve as a foothold, while surveying his surroundings vigilantly. "Where are they?" he muttered, trying to figure out the whereabouts of his opponents.

Soon, from within the icy mist below, came the sound of a door opening and afterward, El saw the three demonic figures that had attacked hi earlier, walking side by side with Kokusibo in their midst.

Calmly and thoughtfully, El watched them intently. At the same time, the three demons were also watching El's movements warily.

Shortly after, Kokusibo's voice echoed with emphasis, "Why... are you interfering?" he said, his tone clearly showing annoyance.

"What can we do?" Doma replied in a casual tone. "Muzan-sama is impatient." A warm smile graced Doma's face as he glanced at Kokusibo next to him.

Hearing that, the veins on Akaza's forehead bulged, and he immediately shot Doma a sharp look. "Watch your words, Doma," he said in a very annoyed tone, signaling his dissatisfaction with the situation.

"There they are," said El, watching the three demons conflict over their words. "Apparently, Muzan is impatient. But no matter," he said, with a faint smile gracing her face.

Then, El touched Metsu's foothold, grasping it tightly. With one long breath, he concentrated the blood flow in his veins, heating his body beyond the limits of her humanity.

Shwoss!

Suddenly, El's figure distorted, as the Metsu dug deep and shattered the wooden pillar he was standing on.

Seeing El suddenly disappear and sensing the approaching danger, the three strongest demons immediately dodged separately, wary of the impending attack.

Upon reappearing, El stood where the three strongest demons stood. "Enbu, Heki-ra no Ten, Hirin Kagerō," he said in a calm voice, like flowing water and swung his sword in a full 360-degree turn.

Nichirin's bright red blade hissed sharply as it rubbed against the air, creating fiery sparks and immediately igniting the cold mist, Doma's Demon Blood Art that enveloped the entire area.

This tremendous slashing wave swept away the icy mist and slammed into the surroundings, spreading heat energy that was almost unbearable, making the three demons have to defend with all their strength.

However, because El had incorporated the Hirin Kagerō move. A move that could cover the blade's original length with heat haze, to outwit his attack. Instantly, all three demons had their chests slashed.

In mid-air while still jumping, Kokusibo, Doma and Akaza were somewhat surprised by the overwhelming effect of El's slash.

As soon as they landed, the three of them realized that the cuts on their chests couldn't heal immediately, even if they were trivial scratches.

Before Kokusibo, Doma, and Akaza could react further, El prepared his body for the Ju San no Kata, "Hi no Kokyū: Ju San no Kata."

With one deep breath, El flowed blood into every muscle and vein, igniting a fiery aura that glowed like embers. His concentration was unwavering; her body seemed to distort, disappearing in a hot shadow as he began the Ju San no Kata Movement with quick, precise steps.

Kokusibo, Doma, and Akaza, with their keen eyes, saw how each of El's footsteps seemed to merge with the flowing energy. El looked as if she was the embodiment of the spirit itself with embers surrounding his.

Realizing the impending danger, Kokusibo, Doma, and Akaza reacted immediately. Their attacks came from three directions, coalescing into a wave of destruction that pressed in on El from all sides, each attempting to tear down the Ju San no Kata that was brimming with power and flames of courage.

Kokusibo rained down crescent blade attacks, while Doma created a hail of deadly knife-like blades, and Akaza unleashed a barrage of aerial blows that shook the entire room.

With precision and power, to incredible speed, El swung his sword through the maelstrom of attacks.

Each movement of Ju San no Kata seemed like a dance that cut and parried every threat as the red blade spun, cleaving through waves of ice and stopping Kokusibo's crescent blade.

Each move flowed into the next without pause, creating an unbroken flow of attacks.

In one moment, El used the pillar as a foothold, accelerating speed while leaping into the air with one final attack that spun and pierced, aiming for Kokusibo.

El's sword flashed, with a circular red glow creating beautiful patterns that spread through the air, creating a glow of solar flames that seemed to burn all the space and air in its path.

Kokusibo, sensing the threat of Ju San no Kata's initial slash, immediately focused his vision, utilizing his Penetrating World Access.

With quick movements, Kokusibo formed a defensive stance, raising his sword to meet the attack. Blood rushed around his sword, adding to the toughness of his defense.

As El's slash approached, Kokusibo pointed his blade, preparing to absorb the impact of the attack, trying to withstand the overwhelming power coming at him.

However, suddenly El's figure disappeared as if swallowed by reality, before their blades could clash. This time, Kokusibo was unable to catch El's movements which were much faster than before, similar to Yoriichi.

Kokusibo clucked his tongue, annoyed. Within half a second, the memory of the duel with Yoriichi hundreds of years ago that was so painful came back to his mind, "Yoriichi!" he said in deep frustration.
