However, even more astonishingly, how did El manage to find the Blue Spider Lily flower that no one, not even Muzan himself, had managed to find for centuries?
Zohakuten's gaze turned cold, full of hatred mixed with deep fear. "No way... Is he an ordinary human? Or is there something more to him?"
"From his horrible killing intent, he must be some kind of monster." Zohakuten thought, as if beginning to doubt everything he knew about the human before him.
Suddenly, Zohakuten's body that was scattered on the ground slowly began to turn into dust, swept away by the wind blowing in the forest. Before his body completely disappeared, Zohakuten sent the information to Muzan.
However, at the same time, his consciousness connected with his original body. A vital piece of information hit his mind, Nezuko, Tanjiro's younger Sister, was now immune to sunlight.
This wasn't just a threat, it was good news for Muzan. By reporting these two things, Hatengu felt very proud to be useful to Muzan to the end.
Immediately, Zohakuten once again streamed the information rapidly through his consciousness network, sending messages to all entities under Muzan's command.
Looking at Zohakuten, finally that body had completely disintegrated into dust, blown by the morning wind, El closed his eyelids and sighed. On the other hand, El immediately deactivated the active Skill, Demon Slayer Mark.
The fire-shaped maroon mark that was originally burning on the left neck to his chest slowly faded, like a candle flame extinguished in the wind.
With the disappearance of the Demon Slayer Mark, the overwhelming power that had previously rushed through his veins disappeared instantly, replaced by a sense of exhaustion that hit his body mercilessly.
"Ugh... Uhuk! Uhuk!" El coughed, fresh blood spraying from his mouth. "My head... feels... dizzy," he said weakly, his body staggering, trying to stay upright.
Although the side effects of activating the Demon Slayer Mark were starting to appear, El was still able to endure them. This time, the effects were not as bad as when he first obtained the Mark.
At that time, El's body suffered fatal injuries after obtaining the Demon Slayer Mark. His bones were broken and his internal organs were severely damaged.
Plus, El had to regenerate the body that was successfully penetrated by Akaza's fist after the fight by utilizing every power including Items, Skills and VIT attributes that he had.
That's why the side effects back then were so dire, after Mark's inactivity. Unlike now, where his body was already healthier, with no injuries at all.
El took several deep breaths, trying to relieve the dizziness that plagued his head.
After feeling a little better, El took out Metsu's sheath from inside the Item Storage Ring.
With calm movements, El put Metsu into the holster before putting it back.
After that, El walked slowly towards a fallen tree not far from where he was standing. Once there, he sat down and leaned back comfortably, letting his body relax a little.
In between, El took out a small bottle of painkiller from the storage ring, then took a sip slowly, hoping that the pain would subside soon.
"I've given Muzan a sweet bait," El muttered while looking at his palm. "Judging from my VIT attribute, Mark's side effects should resolve in just one day, provided I get a good night's sleep."
El raised his head, looking up at the sky that was slowly turning bright blue. "The sun is still shining... Muzan will most likely invite me over tonight," she continued with a faint smile gracing his face.
With slow movements, El closed his eyelids, like leaves falling gently to the ground, trying to fall asleep soon. He knew how important it was to recover his body so that when the big battle came, he would be in top form.
As for Tanjiro and Nezuko's condition, as El knew, they would definitely survive. Therefore, El chose not to check on their condition.
To his, now was the perfect time to take advantage of the demons' greatest weakness "The Sun That Shines Brightly," to focus on healing himself as quickly as possible.
...
In the afternoon, the reddish light of dusk filtered through the bedroom window, creating warm shadows in the room.
El had just woken up from his sleep, noticing the crowd around his bed. There, he saw Tanjiro, Nezuko, Mitsuri, Genya, and Tokitou gathered nearby.
Tanjiro sat with his head, shoulders, and one of his legs bandaged, showing the scars from the battle they had just been through. Beside him, Tokitou also wore bandages on his head and shoulders, though his expression remained calm.
Nezuko, Genya, and Mitsuri, on the other hand, looked fine, with no signs of injuries that would require them to be bandaged.
They seemed to be talking quietly about something, discussing Nezuko's condition that was now immune to sunlight.
Tanjiro looked at Nezuko with eyes that sparkled strongly, "Nezuko... I still can't believe you can survive in the sun. That's amazing!" he said in a voice full of astonishment.
Next to Tanjiro, Tokitou was seriously observing Nezuko intently and trying to understand the miracle before him. "Interesting. Most demons cannot survive in sunlight. But, why can Nezuko?"
"I never imagined there could be a demon that could survive under the sunlight," Mitsuri continued, her face showing awe.
"I'm not sure if Nezuko's current condition is truly safe," Genya said, crossing his arms as he pondered, trying to understand the situation.
Tanjiro turned to look at Nezuko, hope shining on his face. "But we still have to be careful. We don't know the limits of Nezuko's strength right now."
"There might be some side effects," Tanjiro added, his voice tinged with worry, observing how his sister was handling it.
"Nee, Nezuko-chan, how does it feel to be under the sunlight? Is there anything strange?" Mitsuri asked gently, reaching out to touch Nezuko's arm.
Nezuko just remained silent, watching Mitsuri with her bright, attentive eyes. Even though she had become the only demon who could withstand sunlight, it seemed Nezuko's intelligence had yet to develop further.
The atmosphere in the room felt peaceful, but beneath their conversation lay a sense of awe and gratitude for the miracle that had happened to Nezuko.
El, still half-conscious, his eyelids slightly open, gave a faint smile, though his mind was racing with thoughts of what would come next.
El cleared his throat, his voice sounding cold despite no ill intent. "How long are you going to keep talking?" His eyelids were closed, showing that he had just woken up.
"Eeeh?!" They all gasped, surprised that El was already awake. So engrossed in their conversation, they hadn't realized that El had woken up.
El hissed, "You're all too noisy," he said in a cold tone, continuing, "Shouldn't the entire village be preparing for relocation? Why are you and I still here?"
"They're getting ready now; we'll depart tomorrow morning," Tanjiro replied warmly. "Oh, by the way, Uncle Adrian, is Hinokami Kagura a Legendary Breathing Style?"
"Yes," El answered casually. "Hinokami Kagura is a Legendary Breathing Style, the origin of all Breathing Styles."
El paused for a moment, observing the reactions of the people in the room who seemed surprised by his words. In a calm tone, he continued, "The Kamado family ancestors were once friends with Yoriichi Tsugikuni. That's why Yoriichi once demonstrated his Breathing Style to them."
For a moment, the room was silent, filled with expressions of deep shock. "How do you know that information?" they asked in unison, their voices filled with curiosity and a demand for certainty.
"I read it in a book," El replied calmly, as if it were something ordinary.
