Chapter 80 - Recovery Period (lll)

After all, El realized that strong feelings might one day fill the void that was slowly overtaking his. However, for now, all there was was a cold heart, almost completely devoid of emotion.

The stillness within his created a distance between his humanity, making his seem even more inhuman.

The reason why El still went to the trouble of wanting to prevent the destruction of the Demon Extermination Corps was simply because there was a speck of goodness left in him, even though that goodness had faded over time.

That speck of goodness was a sense of responsibility that still bound him to that goal for now. At least it was enough to hold El back from the brink of moral collapse.

Taking out three syringes from the storage ring, El filled them with blood from the reaction tube.

Ding!

Origin Demon Blood (3x)

Description: This blood can change Profession and Race into a demon progenitor that has resistance to sunlight.

This profession can make you have traits, strength, endurance, Demon Blood Art and healing factors.

This blood can only be used once by a Beyonder who does not have a Profession.

_______________

Reading the system's explanation, El said, "System, how much do you think it would sell for in the Auction House?"

Ding!

[Everything depends on the enthusiasts, if there are many enthusiasts, then the price will be very expensive]

[The demon profession can provide Demon Blood Art and Special ability -Healing Factor- this ability is most in demand by most Beyonders with Authority level 4 to Authority level 3 because it is very useful in long-term battles]

[According to the system calculation, one syringe costs 30,000 points, and there is still a possibility of increasing]

"Not a bad price," El muttered, after storing the three injections filled with Demon blood and all the test tubes into the item storage ring.

Then El went up to the bed to sleep immediately. In order to recover quickly and immediately complete all his missions, El must rest as much as possible.

Training Tanjiro did not make El's health worse. However, it did make the healing process much slower.

El knew very well how not to overwork himself, such as focusing on using Total Breathing Concentration. Even so, the passive enhancement effect of the ability was still there.

Closing his eyelids, disabling Rinnegan's ability, El entered his dreamland and fell into a deep sleep.

The morning sun had risen from its slumber, the birdsong sounded beautifully on this bright morning.

The sun appeared behind the mountains, rising slowly, spreading its warm and gentle rays throughout the valley.

The morning air is crisp, carrying the scent of dew still clinging to the grass, and the cloudless sky stretches vastly overhead, seemingly limitless.

Over the past few days, training had been very short due to Tanjiro's still not fully recovered condition, but today was different. Tanjiro had finally made a full recovery, and his enthusiasm shone through his sparkling eyes.

After a short period of rehabilitation and training, to improve the deficient aspects of his Hinokami kagura movements and his stamina. Now, Tanjiro is ready to train with full intensity.

Now El and Tanjiro stood in the middle of the open ground of the Butterfly Mansion's backyard, El facing Tanjiro, who also looked ready.

"Tanjiro, today you've recovered, we can train longer," El said calmly, looking far into the horizon.

"Yes!" replied Tanjiro enthusiastically, as if he had been waiting for this moment for a very long time, training to become stronger.

"But remember, since you've fully recovered, you have to take on missions, so this time's training is no different from yesterday's." said El with a firm and cold voice, but no ill will.

"Yes, I understand. Even if it's a little while before I completely master Hinokami Kagura- No, I will definitely master it completely during the mission," Tanjiro said with an expression full of enthusiasm and determination.

"You will definitely master it," El replied, smiling slightly.

However, behind that smile, his mind was filled with images of the past. 'Unlike me, I had to be killed several times just to understand one move,' El muttered in his mind.

El still clearly remembered his experience at the Training House. Despite having the Rinnegan Eye of Insight, understanding a single technique required dying hundreds of times in the training simulation. Every time he woke up, pain and despair followed, but he continued to endure.

Unlike Tanjiro, who seemed more natural. Tanjiro had learned Hi no Kokyu since childhood from his father, a talent and benefited from the memories passed down from his ancestors in order to understand the 13th move that had always been a mystery.

Gripping the wooden sword with one hand tightly, preparing to start sword training. "Attack me whenever, and wherever you like."

Under the morning sunlight, suddenly the sound of clattering swords could be heard, echoing through the atmosphere. Now, their training had begun, with Tanjiro being extremely dedicated.

Although they were just starting out, today was the beginning of a new journey for Tanjiro's strength and endurance, with El as his guide, training him with great patience.

Amidst the crisp morning air, the sound of Tanjiro's breathing was regular yet heavy. His body moved with a measured rhythm as he practiced Sun Breathing, each movement of the wooden sword in hand, cutting through the air with increasing precision.

Sweat poured down his forehead, but Tanjiro ignored it, fully focused on each technique he practiced, repairing loophole after loophole he'd found in previous fights.

A gentle breeze stirred the leaves, and suddenly, in the distance, came a very familiar scent, the scent of approaching karasu crows.

They stopped their movements, Tanjiro looked up to the sky. In no time, a black crow appeared from the blue sky, gliding down quickly, its feathers glistening in the sunlight.

"Tanjiro Kamado!" cried the karasu crow in a loud voice, its voice hoarse yet firm, drawing Tanjiro's full attention.

The crow hovered low, then circled once before landing on Tanjiro's shoulder. "The new mission has arrived!"

Tanjiro immediately straightened up, his breathing still labored but his eyes now alert. El, on the other hand, took out his sword from the storage ring, and tossed it to Tanjiro.

Tanjiro noticed the sword thrown by El. Quickly, Tanjiro caught the sword, as he heard the message from the raven.

"In the eastern mountain village, a demon has appeared that has eliminated several residents! Investigate and eliminate immediately!" the raven continued in an urgent tone.

Tanjiro's eyes narrowed slightly. The mood within him immediately changed, from one of calm training, to one of readiness for battle.

Tanjiro nodded slowly, understanding that it was time to act. There was no time for hesitation or indecision, this mission could decide the life and death of the villagers.

"Thank you for the information," Tanjiro said calmly, his voice soft but determined.

The crow only cried out once more before flapping its wings, flying away, leaving Tanjiro already preparing himself. Tanjiro stared at the crow that was getting farther away in the sky, then turned to his sword.

With a glance, Tanjiro took a deep breath and exhaled, then drew the sword into its sheath. "Uncle Adrian, this sword is very good, but what does it mean?" he said with a look of confusion.

"Although you already have a sword forged by Haganezuka, but use my sword instead of going unused." El replied sternly and coldly.

Tanjiro watched El walk into the Butterfly Mansion. "Thank you! I will use it very well!" said Tanjiro enthusiastically.

Tanjiro who was already prepared, took the box containing Nezuko, did not forget to say goodbye to all residents of the Butterfly Mansion, after saying goodbye, Tanjiro started the journey.
