In the anime too, Tanjiro could not cut the arrows of Yahaba's Demon Blood Art. However, Tanjiro now uses Hinokami Kagura which has a match for him and a much stronger attack power than other breathing styles.
However, Tanjiro was already very close, right in front of Yahaba. In fact, Tanjiro had also seen the opening thread to behead Yahaba even faster than his Demon Blood Art.

"Argh!" Yahaba screamed in pain as his neck was cut off. Tanjiro's slash felt like boiling hot lava being poured on the base of his neck.
Yahaba's head floated in the air for a few moments, then fell on the ground and rolled. Yahaba was still screaming in pain, watching his headless body stagger and fall shortly afterwards.
Yahaba's demon blood burned instantly when Tanjiro's sword blade rubbed against it. The fireworks in the night were marvelous. Because of this, Yahaba could not use his Demon Blood Art for a final attack.
In the anime, Yahaba gets angry and prepares her final attack, launching many arrows to kill Tanjiro.
Since Tanjiro had grown a lot from the battles along his journey and the plot armor was as thick as crocodile skin, Tanjiro quickly thought of many ideas to escape the entanglement of arrows on all sides.
'No way, it turns out that my family's dance is a breathing style? And it's so powerful! But, how could Adrian-san know?' Tanjiro said in his mind.
Suddenly Tanjiro was very surprised by what he had just done. Just as Tanjiro realized the secret of Kagura's Hinokami dance, El received a system notification.

Tanjiro turned around, wanting to share the shock. But suddenly, Tanjiro fell down and his body was unable to move at all.
"Ugh, because of the injury that happened before and mixing the breathing force my body is so hard to move." muttered Tanjiro lying on the ground.
Fortunately, El directed Tanjiro to mix breathing styles. That way, the power of his attack increased. Plus, the side effects weren't too great for his current situation.
Quickly, El immediately missed Yahaba's body that was slowly turning to dust. From inside the storage ring, El retrieved two 30 mm syringes.
After arriving, El pierced Yahaba's body and drew blood. One of the injections would be given to Tanjiro or Tamayo. The latter, of course, was kept in the storage ring.
After getting what he wanted, El looked at Tanjiro who had been lying motionless on the ground for a while. Right at that moment, Yahaba's body completely disintegrated into dust.
Then El looked at Nezuko who was passing each other temari.
"I told Nezuko to use her claws. But, Nezuko kicked instead? Apparently, Nezuko really likes kicking." El watched Nezuko and Susamaru coldly.
El saw Nezuko kick Susamaru's temari. Then, Susamaru caught the temari and threw it again with dramatically increasing power and speed.
In addition to throwing, Susamaru also passed the ball from Nezuko with a kick.
As a result, dust was scattered around as their battle slowly became more and more impressive.
"Forget it. I'd rather see how Tamayo and Yushiro are doing." Then, El cast her eyes to see Tamayo and Yushiro in their destroyed house.
In the vague darkness, Tamayo stepped out of her house followed by Yushiro. Reaching out with her right hand, Tamayo clawed at her wrist.
"Wakuchi: Hakujitsu no Makō." Tamayo chanted her blood demon incantation.
Tamayo's Blood demon Art technique this time acted as a truth drug serum, causing brain function to decrease and would make the recipient admit their lies and not keep their secrets.
However, if inhaled by humans, the effects would be much more dangerous. There was no further explanation of its effects, but it was definitely very dangerous for humans.
Her demon blood mixed with the surrounding air, spreading very quickly. This made Nezuko and Susamaru stop fighting. Because of the close distance from Tamayo, Nezuko became sleepy.
Yushiro immediately ran towards Tanjiro and El in a hurry. In his hand, Yushiro carried a piece of cloth and immediately gagged Tanjiro's face. For El, Yushiro deliberately did not give the cloth.
"Shut your mouth, don't breathe it in! This is Tamayo-sama's Demon Blood Art. It would be dangerous for humans to inhale it!" said Yushiro firmly and reluctantly.
"Yushiro, where's mine?" El asked in a cold tone of voice.
"You're dead!" Yushiro said that very sarcastically.
"Alright, then give me my sword." El answered that in a flat tone of voice.
Yushiro glanced at El. A smile was painted on Yushiro's face. "Heh, good thing you want to end your life quickly."
El raised her hand and waved her palm lightly. "Of course not, why would I kill myself?"
Veins sprung up on the forehead of Yushiro's head. "I'd love to punch that flatlander in the face!"
Before long, Tanjiro was able to move his body. Immediately, Tanjiro held the sword and tried to stand up, helping Nezuko.
"You shut your mouth yourself, Tamayo-sama's demon blood art is still around, it's very dangerous for you." Yushiro immediately released his hand that was holding a piece of cloth, to cover both Tanjiro's mouth and nose area.
"Tanjiro, the battle is over. You shouldn't worry." El said that while watching Tamayo arguing with Susamaru.
Tanjiro El and Yushiro arrived at the scene, where Susamaru was running in fear after uttering the name Kibutsuji Muzan.
Without warning, a giant demon arm came out of Susamaru's body and mouth. As Tanjiro, Tamayo, Yushiro and El watched the scene in horror, the arms began to brutally destroy Susamaru's body.
After the massacre, they looked at what was left of Susamaru. Out of curiosity, Tanjiro shifted his eyes to where Tamayo was.
"Is she dead?" Tanjiro asked Tamayo who was walking slowly to where Susamaru was.
"She's not dead yet. But soon it will definitely die. This is the effect of the curse. Muzan cells are destroying her body from the inside." Tamayo watched Susamaru's body scattered on the ground.
Then, Tamayo explained about the battle between the demons actually resulting in nothing. Because other than sunlight and demon hunter swords, there were no sure attacks that could kill demons without a great deal of pain.
"Tanjiro-san, look at this. She is not one of the 12 Kizuki." Tamayo extended her right hand, pointing to one of Susamaru's remaining eyeballs.
Tamayo gave a brief explanation that the 12 Kizuki usually had numbers engraved on their eyeballs but Susamaru's eyeball did not have one.
Tamayo also suspected, that Yahaba didn't have it either and believed that they were too weak to be true members.
'Such demons are too weak?' Tanjiro was dumbfounded by statement about Susamaru and Yahaba being too weak.
"Sassy devil! She deserves it!" Yushiro said that very sarcastically.
Pulling out a syringe from under her clothes, Tamayo was about to extract a bottle of Susamaru's blood from a piece of meat left on the ground.
"I've collected their blood." Tamayo immediately put a sample of Susamaru's blood into a small wooden box, and put it away under her clothes.
Tamayo then got up to go treat Nezuko who had accidentally inhaled too much of the spell. Before Tamayo left, El gave her the blood sample Yahaba had taken earlier.
"Thanks for your help, Adrian-san." said Tamayo, then she turned around to treat Nezuko.
