Wu Han was lying on the ground with blood covering his whole body, not a single bone was intact.
More than Half of the Wu clan members were lying on a pool of blood. Some had their head and limbs severed, some had their bodies cut in half from waist.
A gruesome scene which shocked the spectators. The stench of blood was so heavy that some couldn't help but vomit.
"Clan leader Bai you said you will make me the new clan head, how could you break your promise!" Wu Tong had his arms cut off but still spoke in a weak voice as he looked at Bai Jiang. "I..even hired an assassin.."
Bai Jiang looked at him and snorted. "You hired the assassin? Do you have the ability? It was because Lord seven ordered him to do so. You are just an insignificant chess piece."
Hearing this, Wo Tong coughed up blood and weakly fell to the ground.

For me it's exhilarating to see this pathetic site of yours." Bai clan leader laughed sinisterly as he said, "Since we know each other for years, i will tell you the reason for your death.

Then Bai clan leader gazed at the spectators watching the battle and said, "Everyone from the holy city! Forgive me for what i am about to do today. Your sacrifices will contribute to awake the treasure left behind by an emperor." Then he laughed and took out a rectangular disc like object from his storage ring.
The rectangular shaped disc rotated and a grand formation barrier enveloped the holy city.
"Not good, run away everyone!" Some older generation expert felt a bad premonition and started running away.
"What?" Everyone understood that the Bai clan leader was upto no good.
Some people wanted to run away but found themselves trapped inside.
The grand formation blocked all exits outside the city. No one could enter either. Some people tried brute force but the formation barrier sent them flying.
The heaven congregation realm expert gave a hand signal and suddenly dozens of black clothed expert spread out in all direction. Before anyone could react, many were slaughtered.
A huge fight broke out but it was a one sided massacre. People with some strong cultivation resisted for a while but those black clothed assassin's were strong. Blood dyed the the land red. A young child was searching for his mother with tears in his eyes. His small steps suddenly came to a halt as his head rolled to the ground.

An old man who had lived inside the holy city for decades was clutching a metal rod with all his strength. His grandson was hiding behind him full of fear.
Cold light flashed and both dropped dead.
A young man who had just witnessed his whole family dying roared to the sky mournfully.
Tears dripped down from his eyes as his roar came to an abrupt halt. Blood gushed forth from his neck like fountain. With a thud sound his body hit the ground. Before death, his hand reached out to the sky with a grabbing motion, unwilling to accept his fate.
Wherever the assassins went, river of blood followed.
Many gazed at the Bai clan leader with hateful eyes. Some couldn't help but cruse out loudly.
"Bai Jiang aren't you afraid of retribution from the heaven!"

'Cough…Cough' Wu clan leader coughed violently as he stood up weakly with a heart full of pain.

Bai clan leader laughed as he said this, "After i kill you, the whole city will be sacrificed, Nine fox king pavilion will gain access to the emperor's treasure and i will be a member of the Nine fox king pavilion. My Bai clan will be the sole sovereign of this land, a win win situation, don't you think?"
Wu Han spat out a mouthful of blood and stared at the Bai clan leader as if he was seeing a madman.
"You can go die now." Bai Jiang brought forth a long sword and placed it on Wu Han's neck.
"Lord clan leader! Forgive me for being useless." Wu Lang who was suppressed to the ground not too far away cried out sorrowfully.
Just as the sword was about to chop Wu Han's neck, a cold snort was heard which stopped Bai Jiang in his track.
He frowned and looked ahead.
Which bastard is daring enough to interfere. He thought.
A young man and a young girl landed not too far away.
Wu Han's eyes flashed with relief and panic at the same time. He was happy to see his daughter didn't die but was afraid that Bai Jiang would kill her.
"Father!" Wu Xia's eyes teared up as she looked at Wu Han. She wanted to rush to his side but was stopped by Li Shenrong.
"Young man, you shouldn't have interfered with my work." Bai clan leader spoke smilingly.
Li Shenrong didn't even spare him a glance. He looked at the black robed man who was giving off intense Heaven congregation realm aura.
Seeing that he was being ignored, Bai clan leader laughed angrily.
"Someone break his leg and bring him to me." He ordered.
"Young noble Li, run away with my daughter…!" Wu Han mustered up his strength and shouted. His voice sounded extremely hoarse. Large amount of blood flowed out as well.
Few Bai clansmen jumped into action. They approached Li Shenrong, laughing evilly.
"Brat, i have never seen a fool like you. Come to us obediently or else i'll break your tendons."
"It has been a while since i had washed my hands with blood." Li Shenrong opened his mouth and said in a cold tone.
"Today i will show you what true terror is." Then he added.
An incomparable bloodlust descended, drowning everyone present. Those Bai clansmen who were laughing evilly trembled from head to toe.
