Upon hearing that question from Randio, David sat on one of chairs that were on sale . He asked Randio to sit in front of him, and explained,
" No. Let me clarify things out . As you may have already known, the man who murdered my wife, is a serial killer…she was the last out of four, then he disappeared and stopped. The common factors between the four women were that their heads were chopped off , and that all of them won the lottery , winning different amounts of money , in the day they were killed…but there's something odd about that ; firstly , none of the women went to a supermarket after they came home with the news of winning the lottery except my wife , which means the store has something to do with what happened. Secondly , all of them got the required amount of money their husbands need to pay off their debts ; in top of that , they borrowed the money from the same man, named Steve , he made them mortgage their houses to the bank to get more money and start a project . It's strange that although the women didn't know each other, they had the exact same project idea , the only difference was the place of implantation. Plus, Steve didn't talk about the idea of the project initially with those people , but with their murdered wives. Those wives persuaded their husbands on launching that project and talking to Steve about the procedures . What's also strange was that they all had the same case ; the places they had their projects done in had been blown the night they started it . In addition to that , this store was registered in the name of Steve 20 years ago , but Steve had also disappeared form existence and this store is now owned by the famous TH companies . "
Randio smirked at David's speech,
" Okay, but what does the supermarket have to with that after the suspect disappeared ?! Oh , and I'm just a policeman not a detective . "
Loudly and furiously, David said,
" Steve , for sure , has something to do with TH company . I've spent the last 20 years trying to find him , or pull any string that leads to finding the mastermind of the murder of the four women . I've been visiting every single branch of the TH company around the world to collect information , but all of that was in vain except getting some info that'll benefit me in my second round ; maybe this time it'll last only 10 years . So now I'll start anew , but this time , I have information and other things that'll help me know Steve's whereabouts . Oh, and the reason why I chose you is because you have connections and acquainted with all the employees in this supermarket ; You live here anyway , and you've been appointed to be in charge of this area . So, now I ask you to make use of this and provide me with any info I need based on what you've heard from this conversation . "
Randio , surprised at David's words, replied,
" Isn't the suspect of that murder case called Caster? According to Peter's testimony , your wife went with Caster . Also , we've found a clear evidence that Caster is the killer of the four victims , and a video of him confessing his deadly acts ; so why don't you look for Caster instead of Steve?? "
Trying to convince Randio , David explained logically in details ,
" Steve has more to do with the victims, whereas Caster is unknown . It's likely that he was someone that carried out the operations at Steve's orders ; moreover , there's no witness or sign of Caster's whereabouts as if he vanished through the air. He doesn't have relatives and his house was abandoned while all of the stuff were still there ; there's no way to go after him , maybe he had been already gotten rid of . On the other hand , Steve had relatives and when he disappeared, his house was emptied and his family disappeared with him . This means that Steve is still out there, and he will give us information about Caster . "
Randio got surprised from David's obsession,
" Wow….fine….I'll do whatever you want , although I know you won't get anything out of that . "
After Randio finished his sentence, he noticed the security guard shopping ,
"Hey Storm, come here ."
Storm answered and headed to him,
" Hello, Randio !"
Then he noticed David,
"Oh… , and hello, Mr. David."
Dumbfounded at first , David said ,
"Hello…, Mr. Storm,… but , how do you know my name?! I believe we haven't met before."
Storm tensed a little and his mind went blank , till Randio answered on his behalf
" Actually, he has sharp hearing , and he overheard our conversation . I called for him here as soon as I saw him to help me ."
Storm drew on a little smile as he said his last sentence before leaving ,
" In fact , I'm a bit busy… Fill me in on the details later, Randio . "
David wanted to speak with him, but Storm left hurriedly without giving him a chance to do so.
David became suspicious of what just happened, and his mind started to reach conclusions until being interrupted by Ranido , "I think we're done now. I'll keep you updated in case I found anything useful ."
After finishing his sentence, he got up quickly , and it looked like he's trying to avoid David, then David got up from his seat after Ranido left , and headed out of the store.
After passing through the exit gate, he went to the entrance gate where Stal was currently in.
He looked directly at Stal, and said
"I didn't want to speak with you since the policeman was with me…, but I have to say it. This is a perfect place to hide ; even I didn't think of it . I was amazed to see you here . "
Stal's expression showed confusion,
" What do you mean by that, sir. I don't know you, have we met before ? "
David laughed while leaving , "Smart answer, Stal. See ya ."
Stal's thoughts and questions became ambivalent,
'What the fuck is that lunatic talking about?! I will ask Randio about him when he comes out'
When Randio left, he went straight looking for Storm. He found him with the cashier paying for what he bought, so he waited until he finished. Then, they stepped out of the supermarket side by side ; when Randio wanted to talk, he heard Stal's voice calling him ,
" Mr. Randio, please , come here for a moment."
He looks at Stal as he answered him in a loud voice so he can hear him ,
" Later, Sam."
Then he resumed his walk with Storm, and began asking him,
"I've just saved you from that David. Why were you anxious ?!, what's the matter, and how do you even know him ?"
Storm stopped to wait for the taxi, and he answered Randio,
"Peter told me about him. He's the husband of one of the serial killer's victims, so I know him . Also , I was nervous because Peter told me that no one should ever know that I knew about David from him, so I I became speechless and nervous."
The taxi that Storm called arrived, he got in while talking to Randio,
"I told you because you got me out of this situation, but don't ever tell Peter that I told you. Let it be our little secret."
He closed the car door and told the driver to depart.
