Chapter 9 - Chapter 8. The Little Soul

Sikandar and Gul-e-Noor continued their journey to find Mehdi or anyone else.

"Just how long are we going to continue in like this there is no way we are getting any where." Mehdi said while sitting down exhausted from walking.

"This place really is big we don't even know where we are in this place. What if we are at the end and just a fe---" Gul-e-Noor suddenly stopped as both of them heard a soft sound of foot steps as of that of a kid. The sound of a kid's footsteps coming in a place like this will freighten anybody.

Both of them became cautious and even Sikandar stood up in an active posture while leaning forward to attack. The sound of foot steps continued to come towards them but they weren't really able to see anything because they had no light source and it was pitch black there.

Just as the sound continued to come more and more towards them Sikandar hurriedly checking his pockets to see if he had anything that can be used for defense.

But to his surprise he had brought his phone with him about which he had forgotten due to the mice situation earlier.

He took the phone out of his pocket and looked towards Gul-e-Noor while putting up a very ugly smile on his face and so did Gul-e-Noor looked towards him not saying anything but her face showing the anger.

Sikandar turned on the mobile's flashlight and both of them were frieghtened to their bones to see a little girl standing in front of them. The girl looked to be wearing a white dress but was in a very roughed up condition maybe due to staying in this place for a long time.

The girl was walking barefoot but still there was a slight soft sound of her footsteps. Both of them instinctively looked towards each other before approaching the girl but the girl suddenly turned and without saying a word slowly started walking from the direction where she just came from.

Both if them stood there for a second looked at each other and then continued walking behind her. As it was pitch dark before so they were not really able to see the surrounding but now as they had a light source they were able to see the surroundings much better.

They continued to walk behind the little for a long time and reached no end so Sikandar accidentally checked the time but was shocked to see that only five minutes have passed since they began following the girl.

This meant that their perception of time had gone vague and in this place they were feeling the passage of time quickly. The Little girl suddenly stopped abd turned to look at both of them which stopped both of them as the girl continued to see both of them. The girl suddenly pointed in front and continued to look at both of them.

Sikandar looked in front and walked a few steps to observe what she was pointing at was surprised to find a big stone boulder placed in the way as it was blocking the path or more specifically an opening. He called Gul-e-Noor and both of them thought that this might be an opening to the exit but now the problem was how to move the stone.

Just as they were thinking about what to do the girl appeared by them and pointed to place hand at the stone. Gul-e-Noor couldn't understand what she meant but Sikandar did and he placed his hand on the stone.

The sound of something happening behind the stone and the stone suddenly started to move sideways opening the path infront. Both of them suddenly became cautious thinking what might be behind it but to their surprise it was a place which they couldn't believe themselves could exist here.

As they saw what was behind the stone their jaws suddenly dropped as it was a very huge cave with a big pool in the center if it was to be put in comparison then the pool was as big as half a football field. The water of the pool was glowing and creating a bluish light in the whole place. The girl continued to walk towards the pool and both of them followed her.

Just as they reached near the pool did they realize why she had brought them there. The pool was filled with people of the missing team and even Mehdi was lying in the pool unconscious.

"What was that thing which you encountered at that place when you went there in your younger times" The 2nd chief asked the 1st chief who was eagerly waiting for the response from the ones on the site.

"It was a someone and something. Those things which are supposed to stay in their own world and not come out should not be discussed in this world." The 1st chief gave a philosophical answer.

"Philosophical as always aren't you why don't you tell us what really was there." The 5th chief also questioned the 1st chief.

"Nag or Naga is it called by some of you now." The 1st chief answered their question when a guy suddenly came running and said something in his ears which gave him some assurance.

Sikandar and Gul-e-Noor after looking in the pool looked at the girl who continued to looked towards them now they had to get the ones in the pool out somehow. But they had to be careful as there might be something wrong with the water.

Both of them started discussing a plan to get them out of the water when that little girl suddenly spoke "You cannot get them out of there."

Sikandar looked at her asked her "What does she mean by that?" The girls again replied with the straight face "You cannot get them out of there."

Sikandar was trying his best to suppress his feelings as his best friend was lying infront of him and he didn't even know if he is alive or not so he looked at the girl with tearful eyes and was about to ask a question when they suddenly heard a strange sound.

They looked in the direction from where the sound was coming to know what was there when they were surprised to find a snake a big large snake about 50 meters long which was even longer than the longest snake ever found.

Sikandar and Gul-e-Noor suddenly seeing the snake took a few steps back and looked at each other like to say "How are we going to fight that thing?"

Then they suddenly heard a sound which shocked and scared them even more "Don't be afraid of me. I will not hurt you."
