Chapter 2 - Chapter 1. Terror of Nihang Part#1

Chitral one of the highest places on the Earth. Home to the Tirch Mir mountain and heaven for visitors. But also a place for the Monsters to lurk freely due to its terrain.

"Are you sure such a lake exist?" Sikandar asked Mehdi while getting inside the car.

Mehdi replied by saying "If you don't want to look for it don't slow me down there are only 88 days left in the war."

"That is what I am saying only 88 days are left why don't we go and find Koh-e-Kahf to meet a fairy."Sikandar said while laughing.

"You can go find your fairy and I can find the lake anyways I am engaged." Mehdi replied in a serious manner.

After hearing these words Sikandar gave an awkward look to Mehdi and continued to drive. After a few minutes they reached a village. Sikandar stopped the car Infront of a shop and got out to inquire about about the lake.

It was a small kiryana store. The shopkeeper was old and in his late 60s he looked to be pale like he was ill but after looking at Sikandar getting out of the car and coming towards his shop he asked Sikandar "What he wanted to get?" Sikandar replied by saying "NoNoNo! I don't want to buy something I just want to ask about an address."

"Do you know where the Nahag lake is?" Sikandar asked the shopkeeper.

Shopkeeper looked surprised by this question of Sikandar and gave him a terrifying look.

"Kid why are you looking for such a place. Look how good looking you are and you are wearing a good suit and your body language says you are educated too why are you looking for a place that only exists in stories." Shopkeeper told Sikandar while stuttering a little bit in between like he was in fear.

"So there is no such lake." Sikandar asked in a questioning manner.

"Of course there is no such lake how could you believe such stories." Shopkeeper told him.

After listening to the shopkeeper Sikandar came back to the car and said in a happy tone "Look Mr Mehdi didn't I tell you there is no such lake in the world."

Mehdi laughed after hearing these words of him and said "If you don't want to go don't go I will just call the 5th chief and tell him."

"Are you threatening me by mentioning the old man?" Sikandar said while stuttering.

"Threatening you do you think I need to mention Uncle Jahan to threaten you." Mehdi said while looking in Sikandar's eyes confidently.

Sikandar became embarrassed and while looking away asked Mehdi "What to do now?"

"Didn't you see his body language while answering your question one thing that was noticable by anyone while hearing him was" Mehdi stopped and Sikandar replied in an instant "Fear"

"There really is a lake and in that lake there really is something."Mehdi said while making a strange face.

"You are also able to sense it too don't you Sikandar?" Said Mehdi. Just as he said that Sikandar laughed and said in a strange manner "Unlike you I am not a genius it took me a while to sense that strange Ferocious feeling of something dangerous and powerful looking at me."

"Let's continue our quest. Get in the Car." Just as Mehdi said that Sikandar got inside the car just at that moment both of them felt a sudden heartache like something powerful was looking at them and targeting them and they were nothing but ants Infront of it. That feeling while only persisted for a second it was enough to scare someone to death.

They decided to move out and after driving for an hour they reached a ruined building The ruined building was very strange it looked to be more than 800 years old and it was badly destroyed but the architecture of this building was something which looked to be very western but it was blended with eastern architecture there they felt a strange feeling but they couldn't decide what it was and they decided to enter the ruined building to see what it was and just as they entered the ruined building they felt a sudden chill down their spine and they continued the building inside was dark even though there were still few hours left till sunset they couldn't see much in the building but they continued to sense their surrounding using sensory vision as they moved forward a strange feeling took over them that the thing they encountered in the village was getting nearer and nearer to them both of them looked at each other in a fearful manner and without speaking a word both of them made a synchronized decision of coming out of the ruined building until after coming out of the ruined building did Sikandar saw a sight which was unbelievable even for him as someone who is trained to fight djinns.

"Oye Mehdi do you see that?" Sikandar said while surprised and in fear.

Mehdi who was also shocked and in fear replied to Sikandar "That is ---------."

•Sensory vision is also called Third eye or Eye of the Heart. It can help ayyars sense their surrounding to know for dangers lurking in the Dark and to sense for the signs of living things in the area. The greater the mastery of sensory vision the greater the area you are able to sense through it.
