Chapter 251 - A star

Collective gasps echoed in the hall. Assuming is different from proof. Earlier, they were assuming, but now that the proof was standing before them, they couldn't help feeling bad for Greg. The people believed that Valerie had deceived him.

Old Mr. Sinclair's face contorted as he stared at the reports, then at Valerie who looked extremely calm, then at Greg, who was staring at his father with expressionless face.

'What was he thinking?' The only man thought.

"The Sinclair family is truly capable," Mrs. Humphrey finally spoke up. She's been watching from the side like everyone. "Ruby is my G-dawg's daughter in every way that matters. Whether you accept it or not, that fact doesn't change, nor do any of them owe you an explanation!"

"Mrs. Humphrey, even with the evidence, you're still lying for them? Valerie clearly played our families. Are you doing this to save face for your friend, Mrs. Recca?" Mr. Eddie chimed in again.
