Greg didn't speak. Instead, he asked permission to let someone in. When the permission was granted, a battered guy was brought into the room.
The higher-ups frown. That guy wasn't a part of Greg's team. Who was he?
"He disguised himself as a member of my team and went with us to the mission," Greg finally said.
"How was that possible? This clearly proves my point. You're no longer fit for this job!" the same higher-up, who's always had problems with Greg pointed out.
"You're right. I'm no longer the man for this job. Permission to resign."
Everyone's eyes widened, even the hater. He didn't expect Greg would willingly resign without putting up a fight.
"What are you talking about, G-dawg?" one of them frowned.
"Do you think you can just resign because you said so?" Another one retorted.
"You know too many top secret that would put the country in jeopardy. Do you want us to be worried about the country's safety?"
