Adriana felt devastated. She's been caught without fully carrying out her revenge on this family. The old woman was right. Maybe if she'd stayed away from Ruby, she wouldn't be here right now.
She tried to move but couldn't. Her body ached, thanks to Victoria who had beaten the life out of her earlier.
"So, now that you know I'm a fake, what do you intend to do to me?" she asked, staring mockingly at Mrs. Humphrey.
"You tell me," the old woman replied seriously, her gaze bore into Adriana, as if scanning her soul.
"Who are you and why do you wish to destroy our family?" Mr. Taylor asked calmly. His son was agitated and if he let him take over the interrogation, he might just kill her.
Hearing that question, Adriana laughed, almost deranged. "Isn't your Humphrey family so powerful? Why don't you find it out yourself? Hahahaha!" she laughed even more.
