Valerie's cheeks flushed as she grabbed a towel, playfully wrapping it around herself. "And what habitat would that be?" she teased.
Her husband chuckled, strolling closer. "The habitat of stunning beauty, where water droplets cling to your skin like diamonds."
Valerie giggled, rolling her eyes. "You're such a charmer."
He wrapped his arms around her, nuzzling her neck. "Guilty as charged. So, how was your day?"
Valerie's smile faltered for a moment, but she pushed aside the worries. "It had its moments. But this moment?" She gazed up at him. "This moment is perfect."
Her husband's eyes sparkled. "I'm glad I could make it perfect." He stole a kiss, his lips tracing the curve of her jaw.
Valerie's heart fluttered. "You always make it perfect."
"Mm," he nodded, and pulled away, "I know what you're thinking, but not right now," he whispered, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
