Chapter 29 - Repercussions

Mr. Maxwell Williams' face turned beet red with rage as he slammed his fist on the table, making the silverware jump. "You bastard, how dare you?!" he thundered, his voice echoing off the walls. Greg, however, remained calm and collected, his eyes glinting with a hint of amusement.

James, who was quietly eating by the side, cleared his throat and intervened, "Mr. Williams, consider the proposal. Your daughter's future is at stake. Don't let her mistakes ruin her life...and yours too." He added after a pause. His eyes brimming with a nervous smile.

As if he was truly nervous.

Mr. Williams' anger only intensified. "You think you can blackmail me? I'll never give in to your demands!" He stood up, his chair scraping against the floor, and stormed towards the door.

But just as he reached for the handle, Greg's voice stopped him. "You leave me no choice, Mr. Williams."

Mr. Williams turned around, his eyes narrowing. "What do you mean?"
