It's been a few days since Valerie visited Zoey. She heard that Zoey ran mad after losing her pregnancy and was sent to the mental asylum.
The news channel had shifted their focus from Zoey and the Wright family, to something more important - the auction of Maison de la Mer and the rare ingredients.
Valerie was surprised to see that the arrangement her husband made - for the auction to go on without notice, had been ruined. She could have asked him about it, but Greg had traveled to country M for business and she couldn't reach him.
The auction was in three days, it was now left for her to do her best. If only she knew how much the other companies would be bidding. She sighed, feeling a headache coming.
Just then, her phone rang, it was Miss Liam. Taking the call, her voice boomed.
"Valerie, this is a reminder to not be emotionally disturbed. In about two weeks, Dr. Lee will be here, so prepare your body and mind for the upcoming treatment."
