Florida was the last person Zoey expected to betray her. Zoey had held Florida's deepest secrets in the palm of her hand, and Florida's hands were tainted by the numerous immoral acts she had committed at Zoey's bidding - right from harassing and bullying their classmates in high school to their current entanglements.
Zoey, white lotus would stand back as if she was innocent of what her friends did to others, but in reality, she had carefully crafted the script for her minions to act on.
Their history had led Zoey to believe Florida's loyalty was assured, or at least controlled, only to be backstabbed. Luckily, the other ladies had told her everything Florida had planned and Zoey had carefully planned to not only get Florida back, but to also throw her under the bus.
