Chapter 1 - Ch1 - Death Shall Not Come For Me.

A loud noise rings throughout the office. A seemingly young man bursts through the door. A cheerful smile on his face.

"Oh, your highness~."

The young man had red piercing eyes and black hair reaching just above his chin.

The atmosphere swiftly changes from bright to dark. His cheerful smile now gives off the impression that he's about to kill someone.

The stern man sitting in his office chair not fazed by the change in atmosphere quickly replies.

"What do you want now."

"I would like to attend the academy."

The man dazed quickly snaps out of it and replies.

"You're a bit too old for that."

"Am I?"

"Yes, why do you even want to attend?"

"Oh? It seems like fun, no other reason, truly."

The man quickly sighs massaging his temples.

"Fine, do whatever you want."

"I need an ID though; would you be so kind?"

The man releases one final sigh as he quickly turns back to his work.

While the red eyed youth still stands there with a sinister smile on his face.

********************************

"Hmm, so this is the esteemed academy."

The academy was quite a large building it gave more of an archaic feeling. Even with state-of-the-art technology.

I didn't even have to take that stupid test.

Well, I mean it's understandable my current body is way above that of an academy student.

Well, I best get to my class.

It's said this is the golden generation. There is bound to be interesting faces here.

As I approached the class some familiar faces came into view.

Though I had been expecting them. I doubt they'll recognize me though.

I was now directly in front of all of them. Children these days truly quite rude.

They're standing directly in front of the door.

"Uh, excuse me? I think you're at the wrong class."

A soft voice resonated, and they're gazes now directed at me.

The voice coming from a beautiful young woman with platinum blonde hair flowing down to her waist. Her bright golden eyes filled with concern.

Hmm? The saint. It seems the plot thickens.

"I ensure you, I'm in front of the right class miss."

"Huh? I thought there will only supposed to be 5 people in this class."

This time a young man with piercing purple eyes replied back at me.

Ethan Darkhaven.

I contemplated how exactly to respond.

But my thoughts were cut short.

I looked back to see a cold beauty, blue eyes that seem to engulf you paired with long blackish blue hair.

"It seems our instructor has arrived."

I quickly walked into our classroom.

It was in a small college style lecturing room. Though the class was quite small, so we all got a desk to ourselves.

Soon everyone found their seats in which the teacher stood at the front.

"Hello, everyone my names Aria Frost and I'll shall be your instructor for the next 3 years."

Her voice was soft and compassionate unlike her outward appearance.

"I'll be taking attendance now."

She quickly put down a small binder she was holding and flipped through it.

"Rank 5, Charlotte Heinz."

Oh, it seems his daughter isn't as strong as I thought.

"Here."

"Rank 4, Elizabeth Lumen."

Hmm? How interesting.

"Present."

"Rank 3, Adrian Hearth."

The only face I don't seem to recognize.

Quickly raising his hand, he exclaimed.

"Right here, mam!"

Quite the energetic man.

"Rank 2, Lia Eden."

"Here."

The woman that talked to me in the hallways, her personality is well hidden.

"Rank 1, Ethan Darkhaven."

It seems the attention is around me now.

Well, that's expected usually this class starts out with the top 5.

A brief silence enveloped the room the gazes of my classmates focused on me.

Though it didn't last too long.

"Ethan Darkhaven?"

The young man quickly realizing his mistake raised his hand quickly.

"Ah sorry, I'm here."

Another brief silence commenced.

Well, I mean I'm not in the wrong class.

"Rank 0, Fyodor Darkevell."

"Huh?!"

It seems the class is quite confused. Well, I mean there's never been a rank 0.

I let out a small chuckle.

"I'm right here, mam."

The silence is quite loud. Their confused expressions are really quite entertaining.

The teacher already expecting this reaction quickly cuts it off.

"Please split into two teams with Ethan and Fyodor as team captains."
