When Kelsey arrived at school for the first time since the shooting, she received the warmest welcome from her classmates and her teachers. The cheerleaders and the events planning committee welcomed her back. The events planning committee came with cake and the Tigresses and Tiggy the tiger mascot did a whole dance for her. Grace came up with the whole routine.
As for Brandon, he has been suspended until exam week. That's when he can come back. They thought of expulsion but she begged her parents to beg the principal and the other teachers not to. And they didn't do it because they're friends with Brandon's parents and they go to his church and if their daughter can believe in forgiveness so can they? They agreed to a suspension and community service. Unfortunately, Brandon was kicked out of the football team and the captain title went to Chris.
This is bad for him especially when it comes to college applications.
