The nephilims have tackled demons in their lifetime, but it's the demons who shapeshift that are hard to crack. But luckily they have an angel by their side who can easily track the shapeshifting demons.
The demons walk with the L.A resident as a pretty white woman, next as a buff man, then as an old lady and as a young woman again. They don't know they're being followed. They don't know they're going to be killed soon. The humans don't know there is a shapeshifting demon moving about and they don't know there are three invisible nephilims and an invisible angel that wants to kill this demon.
The clueless the human world is, the better. It's not every human mind that can handle the supernatural world. And the nephilims have tried to keep their mind sane by protecting them from evil.
