Most of the time those people come from different places to California in hopes of achieving their goals, in hopes of being a famous actress, model or musician. The Hollywood sign is a sign of hope and success. Once you look at that sign you feel you've already made it.
No one would ever suspect that there's power behind that sign, and no it's not because of the angels standing next to it but because the name itself is powerful enough to get people talking.
Joshua has never wanted to be an actor or a singer, but being close to this sign reminds him of his best friend Angelo somehow. He remembers that Angelo has always wanted to be a musician. He didn't talk much about wanting to be famous, but he did say a lot about wanting to touch people with his music.
