I enjoyed myself a lot; I can't believe I'm saying this, but spending time with the trees was something that I needed to get my mind off things. August was so funny, he made me laugh the entire time we were talking.
I was now on my way to see the king, to ask him if I could get a part of the land for myself. I wanted to be able to have a place to call my own. The land was big, so why not?
When I arrived at the great hall, the king was talking to a guard, but he asked the guard to leave so that I may have a word with him.
I cleared my throat and started to elaborate on the importance of having a place to call my own, the king was smiling by the time I was done, which caused me to frown.
"I am not laughing at you. I was merely thinking that you have finally accepted your place here, Princess Amelia." The king stood up from his throne and made his way towards me, still smiling.
