After retrieving the vial of dew with my mom, a task that was far more challenging than either of us had anticipated, we were now heading to another trial. I had no idea we'd be returning here to the Draconian Hoard.
A shiver ran down my spine as the thought settled in. We had fought the dragons before. Damien and I, side by side, battled through the caves as they ferociously guarded the treasure that was sought by countless men.
The memory of that day felt like it was only yesterday. Their fire, their wrath, all for the sake of protecting what was theirs.
But now, we were here for something far more valuable, a shard of crystal. It wouldn't be easy to find. If the dragons were anything like they had been, we were going to have to fight through them once again.
