Koa, cleaned his hands on a rag and cussed silently. Things weren't going exactly how he had planned them to.
A knock on the door drew his attention. "Come in!" He yelled.
June, walked inside and bowed. "Alpha, I have put both Ruelle and Eloise to sleep. They won't wake up for at least three days."
"Three days ehn? That's good enough."
Koa, turned around and walked towards a table where a map was dropped. "I trust you left Ruelle in the place I left her."
"Yes Alpha, I merely poured the potion in her mouth to make sure she didn't wake up and left her in the circle."
"Good, you may go." He waved his hands to dismiss her.
June turned to walk away but stopped. "Alpha if I may speak, why did you put Ruelle in a magic circle that prevents one from escaping? Surely the potion is enough to stop her movement?"
"I did it for reassurance. If she happens to wake up, she won't he able to get out of the circle until I take her out. Leave now, I'm busy." He raised his hand, bringing the conversation to an end.
June bowed and walked right out of the door.
Once he was alone, Koa released a breathe. He pushed down the guilt that was building up.
He was doing the right thing. He was sure he was. He was merely trying to keep them safe until his meeting with the vampires ended.
Or was he doing it because of the prophecy?
"Damn the fucking prophesy!"
He shook his head to clear his thoughts and turned to look at the Beta whom had just walked in. "Jayden, how close are the vampires?"
"Alpha, the scouts say they should be here by tomorrow morning."
"That's good. The meeting won't take the whole day, then they'll be gotten rid of."
"Are we attacking them when they come?"
Koa, paused and looked at the map as though the answers laid there. "For now, no. However, if something unexpected comes up, be prepared for war."
"Yes Alpha"
"I won't let history repeat itself ever again."

The sweet smell of lavender, filled the air.
"Wake up my queen."
Ruelle, opened her eyes and sat up. She laid on a soft bed and pillows surrounded her. She looked around the room and was taken aback by it's beauty. It looked unreal with flowers surrounding the room, candles on glass tables and a beautiful tapestry on the wall.
Where was she?
She looked down and saw that she wore a very much transparent dress and she tried to cover up herself.
"Why are you suddenly shy?"
She turned sharply to look at who had spoken and she gasped when she saw a half naked man laying beside her.
He was beyond beautiful. His hair was silver and flowed down his back and his eyes were the same color. He was slender but muscular and his lips, his lips were the color of blood.
"Blood?" She whispered.
She screamed as she realized what was going on, this was her dream. But how was she sane? How was she able to think?
"What have you done to me?" She questioned as she grabbed part of the bed sheet and covered herself.
He, raised his brows and looked at her in a mocking manner. "If sleeping with you is a crime, I am guilty."
Ruelle, turned red as she heard his words. Surely this was a dream. She had seen both of them in this position many times. But now, she was conscious.
"It seems your senses are intact."
"What? What are you talking about?" She questioned.
He sat up and frowned. "This should be a dream to you."
"Exactly! It's always a dream, so why is this now somewhat my reality?"
"It seems someone put you under a spell."
"A spell?" At the mention of that, Ruelle, felt a sharp pain behind her head and her memories came pouring in. She remembered having a conversation with Koa and him hitting her and her passing out.
The man, stood up from the bed and began walking away.
"Wait!" She called out. Why did she call him? Why was she stopping him?
"Yes?"
"Everything wasn't a dream was it? It really is happening?"
"If that is what you choose to believe."
"It's not what I choose to believe. Why do these marks appear on my body? What is happening to me?" Ruelle, bit her lips and fought the tears that gathered in her eyes.
Most importantly, why was she feeling emotional? Why did she want to be closer to him?
The man, walked towards her and stopped when he was close. He bent down and grabbed her face, forcing her to look at him. "Patience my queen, I need you to exercise patience. When the time is right, you'll understand and I'll come to get you."
"When will the time be right?" She asked. She could no longer hold back the tears so she let them fall down her cheeks.
Why did she suddenly feel so free with him? It was probably the spell that was causing everything.
He leaned forward and kissed every tears, stopping when his lips were few inches from hers.
"Soon."
Ruelle, released a breath at the closeness and when he pressed his lips on hers like he did in her dreams, she released a soft sigh, welcoming his softness and the warmth that came with it.
He stopped and leaned back. "Go to sleep my queen, I will come for you."
Ruelle, nodded and for some reason, she felt the urge to obey him. She leaned back on the bed and closed her eyes, welcoming the warmth and embracing the darkness.

Ruelle, coughed as she sat up, gasping for air. She turned sharply to look around but released a sigh of relief when she saw that she was in the woods.
What the hell was going on? Was that another dream?
She placed her hands in her lips and the memory of his tongue in hers, came in. It wasn't a dream she concluded but, it also wasn't reality.
Ruelle sighed as she looked up, how long had she slept?
The sun blinded her eyes and she closed it briefly. The memory of Koa attacking her, came back to her and she began to panic.
What was going on? And most importantly, where was Eloise?
Ruelle stood up, groaning in pain from the attack. She turned towards the direction of the town and began running.
God please, let my sister me alive.
She ran as fast as she could, and she kept falling but she didn't care. If something were to happen to El, she would kill everyone if she had to, then kill herself.
Ruelle, sighted some wolves in the clearing and she stopped and hid, to prevent being spotted by them.
She looked around frantically seeking for a way to escape.
Ruelle, decided to go to another direction. This was the woods afterall, there were many ways to escape.
She changed her direction to the west and sprinted in that direction.
After what seemed like hours of her running, she sighted a low fence. Her spirit, went up.
She looked round for a broken spot to wedge herself up. She was going to climb the fence and hopefully, she would be able to find El.
She gripped into the wall and pushed herself up, climbing slowly so as not to fall. He hands felt sweaty but she dared not release her grip. If she fell and they heard the sound, she was probably going to get herself killed.
If she didn't die from the fall.
Once she made it safely to the other side, she landed softly on her feet. For the first time, she was happy for the kind of life she had lived, which thought her how to climb fences and escape dangerous situations.
Ruelle, saw a familiar building from afar and began running towards it as fast as she could but when she heard voices coming, she stopped. This caused her to loose her footing and fa on the floor.
The voices that were speaking suddenly stopped and Ruelle held her breath.
She was going get caught, she was going to be killed.
She dared not to breathe but remained where she was until the voices continued talking. Once she was sure they were gone, she released a breathe.
Ruelle, concluded that the building housed too many people and she was likely going to get caught so she decided to go around the corner towards another path.
Ruelle took a sharp turn and continued running only to see that a group of men stood at her destination. She tried her best to stop but it was too late.
She fell once again and released a shriek as she landed on her butt.
The group of men stopped talking and looked at her in surprise.
Ruelle groaned and looked up at the strange looking men.
"Ruelle, what the hell are you doing here?!"
Ruelle, looked at Koa who now blocked her vision. She opened and closed her mouth like a fish, but no words formed.
"You knocked me out!" She yelled back. She turned to look for another way to escape.
"I should have chained you!"
Ruelle, stood up sharply and sidestepped him. She began to run away but stopped when her hand was grabbed by someone.
"Let me go!" She screamed, punching his chest as hard as she could. "I'll kill you bastard!"
"I'd love to see you try" The voice said in a mocking manner.
Ruelle released a breathe as she heard the now too familiar voice. She shook, too afraid to look at him but she had to, to confirm she wasn't asleep.
She took in a breathe as she looked at the silver eyed man with silver hair. The man that frequented her dreams.
"You." she whispered, taking a step back.
This wasn't a dream, was it? Surely she wasn't hallucinating?
The man smiled softly as he looked at her. "Finally we meet, my queen."
Ruelle, choked on her words. He had promised to come to her but she didn't expect it to ever happen, she didn't expect him to exist.
"Why are you chasing her?" He said as looked at Koa.
Ruelle turned to face Koa, while still in his grasp. She shook as she saw the murderous expression on his face.
"Let her go!" He grunted.
"And if I don't? What right do you have to claim her?"
Koa, chuckled and looked at him with disdain. "Typical of you vampires, taking what you do not own."
Vampire? So this beautiful man was a vampire?
Ruelle, looked up at him and wondered what was going on.
"She is not some goods to be taken Koa, you fail to realize that."
The beautiful man, turned to look at her and pushed back her hair. "I hope you are not hurt?"
Ruelle, shook her head as she tried to process what was going on. She was too stunned to speak.
"Tell me, why does the King of vampires, hold a young woman as though she is his?" Koa questioned.
The King of vampires? Did Koa mean, that the actual King of the most feared creature was the person that held unto her?
"You already know why Koa." He stepped back and released her. "Go, I did mention to come for you, but not like this."
Ruelle, looked back at him one last time before she ran away, towards her sister.
She had a million questions to ask but now, was not the time, she had to make sure her sister was alive and escape as soon as she could.
Ruelle knew nothing of what was going on but she knew that the longer she stayed, the more their life would be in danger.
She was being dragged into a battle that she knew nothing about and, she had no intention to fight.
