This day is the greatest day in Islam, and the biggest historical day in the world.on this day, a great tragedy and a great calamity occurred, which has never been witnessed in history, a bloody incident, and a painful catastrophe befell Islam and Muslims. over the centuries and eons, eyes wept and hearts burned with the fire of sorrow and sorrow.

On this day, the sorrows of the people of the House of the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and the sorrows of all those who carry loyalty and affection to them will be renewed.

And it is all the wonder of some Muslims who make this day a day of feast and joy, and they are oblivious to what happened on this day and what befell the master of the youth of the people of paradise and the tribe of the messenger of Allah and his spirit, the martyr Imam Abu Abdullah al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon them) of the misfortunes and misfortunes from which they took pity on the mountains and showed to bear them, and these calamities befell the good people of the messenger of Allah by the children of Umayyah and their followers.

MU'awiya ibn Abi Sufyan died in the half of Rajab in the year 59 or 60 of the hijra, and his son Yazid seized the support of the caliphate, and claimed to be the caliph of the messenger of Allah and standing in his place; knowing that he (Yazid) did not have the qualifications for the caliphate, from his doomed lineage and his vile account, and his punishments that he was committing from alcohol, debauchery, playing with dogs and monkeys, and recklessness in every sense of the word.

The Muslims objected to entering under the obedience of a man who does not believe in God or the prophet, and holds the doctrine of atheism and heresy, as he stated So al-Walid sent Al-Walid to Imam Husayn and read Yazid's book to him, and Husayn said: O al-Walid, you know that I am the people of our house, Allah has opened and our house is sealed, and like me, he will not swear allegiance to Yazid, the drinker of alcohol, the rider of debauchery and the murderer of the respectable soul.

So he made the people of Iraq write and write to him and ask him to go to their country to swear allegiance to the caliphate, because he is the first of the others, he is the son of the messenger of Allah and his tribe, and the Imamate stipulated by his grandfather the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to say: (Al-Hasan and al-Husayn are imams standing or standing).

That is, whether they carry the burdens of succession or are usurped from them.

Until twelve thousand people of Iraq gathered at al-Husayn's, and all of them had the same content, they wrote to him: Where Have you gathered the fruits and the greenest grapes, but a female soldier has come to recruit you, if you have a hundred thousand swords in Kufa, if you do not submit to us, then tomorrow we will fight you in the hands of Allah.

So Husayn sent his cousin Muslim Ibn Aqil to Kufa, and when the Muslim entered Kufa, people gathered around him and pledged allegiance to him because he was Husayn's ambassador and representative, so they pledged eighteen thousand or twenty-four thousand to him.

When Yazid learned this, he sent Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad to Kufa, so ibn Ziyad entered Kufa and sent to the heads of Clans and tribes threatening them with the Levant army and coveting them.

So they made them separate from the Muslim little by little, until the Muslim remained alone, and a woman added to him, so they surrounded the house where he was, and the Muslim went out, and the fire of war broke out, and a Muslim was killed by great killers, and he was arrested on the day of Arafah and they beat his neck, and they made them drag him in the markets with a rope in his legs.
