Makoto Akutani's Perspective:
"Damn, I missed my chance to get his number," Akutani sighed, watching as Akaya was whisked away by Virt. She reluctantly made her way back to class, where her best friend, Rin Michi, was sitting at her desk by the window, chatting animatedly with a group of friends.
"Kotone, I got Akaya's number," Akutani announced as she approached.
"What?!" Rin looked up in surprise, her expression flickering through a range of emotions that were hard to describe. Yet, if Akutani had to put a name to one, it would probably be "betrayal."
"W-w-w-why did you get his number?!" Rin stammered, flustered.
"Just a hunch that you might be curious," Akutani teased, watching as her friend squirmed.
"N-no, I don't care about stuff like that!" Rin protested, but her eyes gave her away.
"Oh, so you don't want me to share it with you?" Akutani leaned in, grinning mischievously.
