Chapter 56 - Deer Man

The iron ball launched by Makoto Akaya struck the chain with enough force to tear through the space around it. The pseudo-dungeon reverberated as the chain was violently thrown into a rock pillar, resulting in the sound of stone shattering and a cloud of dust rising into the air. The shockwave brushed across Akaya's bangs.

The black chains that had attacked Akaya suddenly lost tension and collapsed onto the ground, lying limp like dead snakes.

A second iron ball was released. Akaya aimed at the white-haired man. The man appeared shocked that the chain had been blown away, momentarily distracted from Akaya. As expected, the white-haired man's reaction was delayed, and by the time he refocused, the iron ball was nearly upon him. Akaya was confident it would hit its mark.

An arm extended. A large arm from behind the white-haired man caught the iron ball. Emerging slowly from a wooden door, a fourth presence appeared.
