Shine was only four years old, but his curiosity was truly unexpected. The boy sought his mother's attention with innocent eyes and a few blinks. Vivian, of course, recognized this; if her child was acting spoiled, it meant he wanted something. She bent down and tilted her head, smiling at the boy in front of her.
"So, what do you want, Shine? Is there a new toy you want to buy?" Vivian asked gently.
Shine just shook his head, but his expression didn't change. Vivian was still trying to figure out what her son wanted. Then, another question came to her mind.
"Hm, do you want some ice cream? Or... the snacks from the café we usually go to?"
Vivian received the same answer. This time, Shine was really making her think hard. From behind, Jessi gave a small smile, watching Shine's cute behavior. Jessi actually knew what Shine wanted to say, but the boy liked making his mother think until she gave up.
