Chapter 25 - Fiend emperor poison

In the meantime Canaan, and the 'toxin immortal guard' he had crafted with his powers slowly trekked through the ocean currents towards the houses gate.

The realm glowed with a surreal beauty.

Even will only hatred in his heart, Canaan was forced to admit that in the realm of beauty, the house of Oceanus put the house of Arzul to shame.

Canaan let none of this transpire across as he approached the gate with an emotionless visage.

He waived his hands expressionlessly and a member of his guard announced their identities and presented the royal seal of the toxin immortal King.

The Nereid guards nodded respectfully before opening the gates and giving them way. Soon under the direction of the guards they came across the grand entrance of the Nereid palace.

"We are the mighty house of Oceanus, how could our father have we princes welcome a mere emissary? How is he worthy?" A dissatisfied Konsul hissed.

His brother the crown prince , who was next to him inwardly agreed, however he was less impulsive and conceited, not daring to give voice to his thoughts.

"Where is our royal sister, surely father understands that she is in the best position to receive guests." Konsul asked with dissatisfaction.

"Where is royal sister, with her status is she not the most fit amongst us to 'entertain' guest." Konsul sneered.

Toward both his half-sisters of mixed lineage, Konsul had only disdain and no respect, as did most of Pontus's sons.

After all, Pontus himself, the king of the house showed no care to his daughters, were it not for Corissa's presence he could have possibly sent them away or revoked their status as princes.

Even now, Xara's royal duties were the most humiliating and demeaning in the house.

Perhaps that was why she had grown so cold and indifferent while the second princess Isis never spent more than a day within her clan.

Of course konsul had a more personal reason feeling dissatisfied:

A few months ago before his journey to the house of Arzul his sister Xara's great beauty had touched him and filled him with evil desires.

Had she been a respected princess, he would have never dared to act on his thoughts, however pressuring her with his status, he attempted to force himself on her recklessly, and she had given him a lesson he would never forget.

After this, not once did he blame his own idiocy and impulsiveness, rather his hatred for his sister had grown to a large extent.

"Quiet, you will show our sister the due respect!" The first Prince Dolar hissed under his breath.

At the same time the emissary and his guard had finally reached the gates of the Palace.

All the hearts of the princes all contained dissatisfaction and complaints they let nothing transpire on their faces as they amicably bowed in respect.

The leader of the delegation, a toxin immortal clad in grand robes and who had deep green eyes and a broad physique (Canaan) in disguise watched the two princers in amusement, his glinting with an especially cold light as they passed Konsul's figure.

Then they returned to the first prince Dolar. Konsul was an idiotic waste with groundless conceit, but this prince, he was more intereting….

The leader of the delegation did not return their bow, rather he simply paused at the threshold of their palace before saying in a cold and disdainful voice. "Move!"

Atthis expression of disdain, both Konsul and Dolar felt a vast rage overcome them as they boiled, still they were not stupid enough to actually complain, their heads dropped even lower as they spoke in a submissive voice.

"Greeting Lord Emissary!"

Their display of humility should calmed even the most furious of hearts, however the Emissary's voice which was saturated with blatant disregard rang out coldly in the space around them.

"Enough nonsense, you know as well as I the purpose of our visit. Stop wasting our time and bring to see that coward you call a king."

At this point even the mere guard's that accompanied the princes were seething with rage.

Dolar took deep measured breaths before he deemed that he was calm enough to give a suitable reply, however before he could speak, Konsul brash voice infected the space around him.

All of the anger he had suddenly kept suppressed erupted. "Emissary Lord, my royal brother and I gave you the due respect because of my fathers order, and also because of the respect we have for the toxin immortals.

At the same time we realize that what happened at the wedding was indeed our fault.

However, do not think for one second that you a mere emissary can be rude to us princes! You are not even fit to be received by us, and yet you are actually oblivious and stupid enough not realize the great courtesy we have shown you!

You worthless fool, how dare you insult my father!?" Konsul raged.

'Oh no, this idiot' Dolar hissed inwardly as he attempted to salvage the situation.

"WUUUUAAAAAARGGGGH" Unfortunately, before he could Konsul's scream had already sounded out.

Dolar fiercely shuddered as he beheld the istuation before him, and as did most of the Royal gaurds.

Somehow before any of them could move, Konsul had been sucked into the hands of the Emissary lord.

With his throat being seized so suddenly Konsul's eyes bulged and faint cracking sounds arose from his neck.

Never had he thought that a mere emissary lord would dare to assault him, a mere prince.

"Lord Emissary, What is this!?" Dolar roared furiously.

Unfortunately the emissary ignored him as he mused just loudly enough for konsul to hear: "Not worthy of being greeted by a prince, I wonder then if Im worthy of crippling one?"

The pupils within Konsul's Bulging eyes suddenly contracted into needles as the emissary's words reached him. At the same time a grand aura of power erupted from the emissary's body, cowing all the guards that ware attempting to attack him and rescue the prince.

"This….a gold class!?" Dolar sighed in both amazement and horror.

The house of Oceanus only had 26 gold class devil gods and they were all either elders or lords of Guardian clans.

And yet within the Toxin immortals, a gold class devil god was actual serving as a mere emissary!?

The surrounding gaurds and the crown price himself were all shackled in place, and with a cold laugh a viscious green light exploded around the emissary.

"Is that….is that…the fiend emperor poison!?"

"Run…..Run!!!"

The guards all fled in a disheveled state, abandoning their prince to his fate, for the grave toxicity erupting from the poison marked at as one they all feared.

The fiend emperor poison!!

Even the slightest contamination by it could completely cripple one's devilish power!

And the effect was permanent, all the devilish power one had garnered before this would dissipate into nothing, and there would be no hope for one to cultivate it again in the future.

Konsul's expression morphed into one of pain and pleading as the poisonous light unreservedly sunk into his flesh, blood and soul; Permanently crippling his divine power.

When the storm of devilish poison had dissipated, the emissaries hand finally let go of him as he crumpled onto the ground, the silver class devil god power he had once been so prideful had eternally dissipated into nothing.

The crown prince's chest heaved with rage and yet at the same time he felt overly encumbered with fear.

What a joke!?

At the mere whim of the emissary his brother had been crippled, even if he had ten times the courage, how could he dare to show it.

Still he had to uphold the dignity of the imperial family.

"Lord Emissary at the very least my brother is an imperial prince, how could you cripple him without any good reason!?"

The crown princes voice, while maintaining a respectful tone was not servile at all. Anyone who heard him would feel as if what he was saying was reasonable however.....

"HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa" A rambunctious peal of laughter punctuated the air as the emissary threw back his head and laughed as if he had heard the most hilarious joke in the world.

"He's complaining...he's actually complaining...hahaha.....I suppose it makes sense. When an entire house of inept devil gods excels in nothing else, they might as well excel in stupidity....HAHAHA"

The emissary let out a other uproarious laugh before his gaze congealed into frost.

"Since you are so clearly retarded let me spell this out for you..."

"We are stronger than you! even I, mere emissary can defeat your so called great monarch.

Why else did you cling to our thigh and propose a marriage between our prince and your princess.

Had your princess not been one of the most beautiful women of the continent and had our prince not fancied her, do you think we would have deigned to even listen to your request?

Polluting our mighty royal bloodline with your talentless filth is already a great concession on our part.

"We princes"" The emissary scoffed as he pointed to Konsul who was convulsing on the ground.

"Even this conceited fool is worthy to be called a prince?!

The only reason I am yet to take his worthless life is because it disgusts me for my hands to be tainted by the blood of this creature.

That is to say.....that even being killed by me is an honor he is unworthy of.

Before us, your rights, honor and dignity are not worth dogshit!

What a joke!

After the great humiliation you've caused us, you are lucky not to be facing the threat of our war and yet you dare speak of your pathetic dignity?

Very well then, you halted our righteous mission to extract reparations from you and that insults our dignity.....

So all officials involved must...DIE!"

Immediately a dark green devilish miasma exploded out out of the emissary's skin and rushed towards the surrounding gaurds.

"No please!!!"

"Lord Emissary!!!"

"Spare us"

Like a storm it overtook all who stood before the gate, surging into their bodies and causing them to rot from the inside out.

"Ahh....ah" Soon their wails grew shrill and frightening, however the Emissary was untouched by this, coldly watching as their limps fell of and the their bodies crumbled into debris all while they were alive!

And soon enough....they weren't a anymore...

When poisonous miasma disappeared, so had all the silver class gaurds in the vicinity.

Only the crown prince and the still convulsing Konsu were left behind.

'Thud'

The crown prince fell on both knees as his skin turned the colour of a pigs liver. Never had he felt the kiss of death so closely before.

He could sense that for whatever reason, the emissary had precisely controlled the miasma so only that gaurds died, but he and his brother survived.

If he had decided to kill him, there would have been no way to stop him.

"Do not test my patience any more than this. Take me to your king!"

With a shudder the crown prince Dolar rose to his feat and forced himself to speak despite the sheer terror shackeling his soul.

"Yes....of course!" He stammered in a pathetic manner.

"Take this thing!" The emissary said as he callously tossed Konsul's body to one of his soldiers as if it was the most disgusting thing in the world.

Dolar noticed this, but after the terrifying show of force he had experienced just now, how could he dare complain.

He could only silently pray to the great devil emperors that this crisis would not result in the fall of his house.
