"I'm not interested in your apology,tell that to your ancestors when you get to hell" Simon said as he released a bullet into the man's head.Penny froze and tried as much as possible not to scream covering her mouth and trying so hard not to tear up.Her heart was racing like crazy,her dress was dripping from the heavy rain and she just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible before anyone notices her presence and she gets in trouble.
She had gone back to the store to look for her bracelet but she couldn't find it,she had given up and was about to leave when she heard voices very close by and heard a man begging for his life "what's that all about?" She whispered to herself and tip-toed slowly towards them.
She closed her umbrella and hid behind a truck and listened to the not so friendly conversation not like she had a choice,she would have to get through them to get to her car so she had to wait even though the rain was not showing any mercy at that moment so she hid herself and made sure not to make a noise .
She could hardly see the faces of the men but there were three men all dressed in black tuxedos and there was another man kneeling in front of them with his head down,he was looking lifeless as he looked like he had previously been beaten to a pulp,blood was dripping from his head and nose and his white shirt was also covered in blood,he had bruises all over his face which made it really hard to point out his facial features.
"are they trying to recreate men in black?" She said to herself and continued scanning the men.She leaned a bit closer and quietly listened to their conversation.
"Please,spare me,I didn't do it on purpose" the man on his knees begged and swallowed hard realizing he had made the biggest mistake of his life.The three men stared at the man on his knees with no pity without saying a word.He knelt there shaking and dripping blood as he patiently waited for the tragedy about to befall him.
"I…I didn't know she was someone dear to you,I swear" the scared man begged in tears,soaked from the rain and his own blood.
Penny could only see the back view of the three men standing but still couldn't see their faces because it was really dark,she checked her watch and it was already past 8,her mom and grandparents would be so worried right now but she couldn't even leave where she was at the moment and she was already so soaked from the rain,she was definitely going to fall sick after this.
She leaned closer and continued listening to them and started wondering what the poor man must have done to the three men for them to refuse to hear his plea,what he did can't be that bad.
One of the men moved closer to the kneeling man and said "I'm not interested in your apology,tell that to your ancestors when you get to hell" and then released a bullet into the man's head.Penny froze on the spot and tried as much as possible not to scream as the man dropped dead with blood all over the floor.
She gripped her dress and covered her mouth trying as much as possible not to make a noise so she wouldn't get caught.
"I have to get out of here right now" she whispered as she finally got a little grip on herself but she was already shaking and breathing heavily,it was like her heart was in her mouth.
"Pack the body and feed it to the pets" Simon said and the two men nodded and carried the body inside one of the cars and drove off.
Penny peeped and saw that the three men were gone and so was the man's body,she came out from hiding and was already shaking as she was already very wet from the heavy rain.She hugged herself and just stood on a spot for a while before she picked up her umbrella.The image of what had just occurred kept playing in her mind and just as she was lost in thoughts a voice came from behind her
"Hey princess" a manly voice said and moved closer to where she was standing making Penny turn back and point her umbrella in defense,she scanned the man from head to toe and couldn't believe what she was staring at,"why is he so handsome" she said to herself,she looked at him for a few more seconds admiring his perfect facial features,he had a perfect head shape and every detail of his face was fully concentrated on and his chiseled jawline was not left out,he was tall and majestic,his broad shoulders made his whole appearance even more angelic,his perfect milky skin was shining in the night and not even the dark could stop him from being noticed in the midst of thousands.
"Are you gonna use that umbrella or what?" the man asked as he moved closer to the girl who was a lot shorter than he was but not too short.He lifted her adorable chin up and scanned her face and realized how unbelievably pretty she was.
"So…did little princess see all that just happened?" he asked leaving Penny dumbfounded as she realized that he was one of the men that were torturing the innocent man a while ago,in fact he was the one that shot the gun and gave the order to take the body away.Was he going to kill her too?,is he going to feed her body to the pets like that man?,she didn't know what to say or do at that moment,she just stood there shaking in fear as her umbrella dropped from her hands.
"You must be really scared of me…you're not saying a word" he said as he stood there scanning Penny as he could sense the fear in her,he seemed cold and ruthless like he was void of any kind of emotion.
"I won't hurt you"he said as he surprisingly removed his jacket and put it around Penny
"There you go little princess,you must be cold,you've been in the rain for way too long" he said as he gave a devilish smirk
"Tha…tha…thank you" Penny forcefully said as she picked up her umbrella and was about to leave before tragedy befalls her but was stopped in her tracks "Stop" Simon said making Penny freeze on the spot and slowly turned back to him and earned the shock of her life with the last thing he said to her
"Be my fiancé for 3 months and I'll grant you whatever thing you want the most"
