Tom's back!
So happy!
Xiaocao was so happy she felt like she could fly.
The fear of being surrounded by monsters had faded away.
Hummingbird, protecting Xiaocao, rarely showed a smile when she saw Tom appear.
At first, it was just her, protecting Xiaocao.
That was somewhat challenging.
These cheeky monkeys didn't look imposing.
They didn't seem to be much of a deterrent.
But only after actually clashing did one realize how troublesome they were.
These monkeys were incredibly fast.
And they knew how to work as a team.
Just after the initial encounter, Hummingbird almost got caught.
Luckily, she was also skilled in speed.
She barely evaded the cheeky monkeys' claws.
And took the opportunity to shoot, killing one of them.
It deterred the hungry eyes of the other large monkeys.
If that shot hadn't hit the mark, it would have been a completely different scene, with both Xiaocao and Hummingbird skinned alive by those cheeky monkeys.
