A police car stopped in the hotel's underground parking lot.
Song Lin opened the car door, walked toward the elevator, and headed straight for the surveillance room.
Upon arriving at the surveillance room, Song Lin began reviewing previous footage to inspect the suspects identified by Wang Qiang.
Song Lin spent an hour at triple speed, scanning through all the surveillance before lighting a cigarette, leaning back wearily in his chair, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"There really is something wrong..."
Song Lin muttered to himself, picked up the walkie-talkie from the desk, pressed the talk button, and spoke, "This is Song Lin, I will be replacing Wang Qiang as the commander of this operation. All units, maintain your positions."
"Roger that!"
As soon as Song Lin's voice fell, a series of "Roger that!" came through the walkie-talkie.
"Shi Guang!"
Song Lin called out over the walkie-talkie.
"Captain Song, I'm here!"
The recently returned Shi Guang responded immediately.
