Mr. Situ stepped out of the suite and dialed Dongfang's number—an action that came instinctively to him, even though he hadn't used that number in years and had even blacklisted it at one point. But the number had been etched in his mind for far too long; he didn't have to think about it to get it right.
"Oh, I thought you'd never contact me again in this lifetime," came Dongfang's mocking voice from the other end of the line.
Clutching the phone so hard it was nearly breaking, Mr. Situ's voice remained calm as he said, "What exactly do you want?"
"You call me and then ask me what I want, how should I answer you?" Dongfang said with a laugh. It seemed deliberate when he moved the phone away from his ear, letting Mr. Situ hear the commotion on his end.
